WAYCROSS, Ga. -- Eleven students got together and plotted to kill their teacher, even going so far as to bring handcuffs and a knife to school, Waycross police said.

One of the teacher's relatives said each child at Center Elementary School in Waycross had a job to do, including one assigned to wipe up the blood.

The plot unraveled over the weekend when a student tipped off police, Local 6 reported.

School officials said they never imagined that some of the 8- and 9-year-olds boys and girls at the school would think of bringing physical harm to a teacher, WJXT reported.

"A plan had been developed amongst several of our third-grade students to allegedly do harm to their teacher," said Theresa Martin, of Ware County Schools. "It's shocking that they would think of this at their young age. I think that is probably the most shocking part for all of us," Martin said.

In addition to the knife being found, the school officials said other students had duct tape, handcuffs, ribbon and a heavy crystal paperweight.

The police chief in Waycross said that he believes the plan may have been developed because one of the students was punished with some sort of time out. However, that theory remains under investigation.

"I can't believe that -- because he's a third-grader. You know, I cannot believe that. Especially, for here," said parent Doris Rowland.

The children could face expulsion and criminal charges pending the investigation.

No. Wasn't an assumption. I said "I wondered" It's an old thought based on some personal experience.

I know that alot of kids are just bad little fuckers and they need some discipline cause they're not getting it at home.

But i'am pretty sure that there's enough people out there who can remember an old teacher that they had who was just mean for no fucking reason.

Why work with kids if you're not gonna take the time out to be patient, nurturing, fair and respectful?

Well I went to junior high school in Valdosta and I remember one school, them little niggas was straight punching out teachers like it wasnt shit. This must have been what, '85?

I remember when I was in elementary it was quite common for kids to beat the shit out of teachers. I'll never forget this ol' boy named Marvin stole the teacher so hard ol' girl wig flew off. At the time it was funny but its some sad shit. They're already underpaid and gotta go through this shit? Our future is fucked. They can come up with murder plot but can't do their time tables. A damn shame.....

I know what you mean, but in your original statement you said you wonder why people become teachers to treat kids shitty.....

Not whether you wondered if that teacher treated the students shittty

Those are two different things, however, I do agree with your idea that some people go into teaching for the wrong reasons....
 
I couldn't imagine any of my students wanting to kill me. If anything, most of my students love me. I teach in a predominately black school, which I prefer because I like being around and helping my people's.

Our problems are significantly different, though. Just today, the police came by my classroom asking about one of my students...asking if I had seen him. I told them he has been absent for quite a few days now and asked if it was anything bad he had done. They replied that it was baaaaaaad.

I don't know why these kids want to "hustle" and they already live in a decent neighborhood with well-off parents. :dunno:

three of my friends and i plotted on poisoning our 4th grade teacher.

luckily she smelled the shit that somebody poured in her drink or else i might still be locked up.

it was wrong but she was an evil, racist bitch and her daughter was a fucking cunt.
