not true, he does have a choice...he can just CID unlock his phone(will take a few minutes and give you full access to the filesystem) and then delete the files if doing it by using total commander doesnt work

how to unlock your phone:

I can now see the windows folder while the phone is connected to my computer.

I don't have any of my personal songs on my phone. There are preloaded songs on the phone that I want to delete but can't because I get this message.

why are there pre-loaded songs on your phone? Try to delete them using LJs way.

my phone came with the same lame ass preloaded songs...but I was able to delete them easily....

Side not...last night while installing pocket putty on my homeboy's tilt...I tried to delete the previous pocketputty install but was unable to...got a message stating it was read only....so how did I resolve it...i just renamed the file and then i was able to delete it...this might help

I installed the Tom Tom navigation program on my HTC 8125 with the California map and so far it worked to locate addresses in a couple cities I tried and give my directions. I don't have GPS on my phone so I wasn't able to use that particular function but this is worth it anyway. Thanks for the drop!!
 
Will any of these work for the dell axim x51v?


Does anyone know of the application that allows your pocketpc like the axim to run the same software interface or touch application like the iphone?
basically a clone program for pc?
 
i am glad i am in to this thread i was thinking of geting a iphone but i may just get that tilt or the HTC 8125 thanks for the info.............

...get the tilt if you can...I used to have the 8125..its cool...but i also had the 8525 now I have the tilt...and I love it!

Hey i downloaded pocketsnes to my mda and wanna know where i can go to get rom games for it. I found a site for pocketnester plus with hella games but can't get the pocketnester downloaded on my phone. Can someone help with either of these

if you are trying to download the pocketnester zip file directly to your phone use the opera browser and not pocket IE
 
anyone been able to install the tm tom to the tilt been tryin to get this shyt poppin all day long...everytime i install it..it says no maps...wtf

you need to install the maps and voices directories to the root of your storage card... i.e.

/Storage Card/voices
/Storage Card/California.v665.1294

Oh hell yeah. let me know how this is. If there is a .cab beta, pass it on. I want to test this on the xv6800 and ipaq 211. They both dont have flash though, and cant play youtube vids without coreplayer. Interesting to see how that works.
 
what are yall using for threaded sms? Trying out Vito SMS now, but dont like that you cant copy and paste. Suggestions?

Man this browser is the truth...I would love to drop it in here but heres the thing....Skyfire has a tight leash on this beta release...i can post the cab but it will not work when you install it because you have to create an account that is tied to the phonenumber and email you used when you signed up for the beta...therefore when you fire the browser up it does an authentication against their servers and if your device and phone number do not match up....no dice

I use pocket cm(http://www.pocketcm.com/contact.php)

But you might want to consider upgrading the ROM on your device to WM 6.1...it has sms threading in it now...I'm hoping someone makes a cab for it just like they did for the pocket IE (with the added zoom function) as I have no other reason at this time to upgrade my tilt to 6.1
