HELL MUTHAFUCKING YEAH!!!!

I second that. Marvel Universe is totally fucked up and confusing. I am especially tired of Wolverine. How the fuck can he be in so many comics.

DC has been hitting home runs in my oppinion as of late, and I too was a long time Marvel fan.

I have to agree with both of these statements.
What the hell is LOGAN about?
Is this mini series going to be any different from any of the other Wolverine books?

DC had a really good year in '07, all of their series were/are good (except Amazons Attack!) and they are building up to a great '08.
Almost any book they put out has a readable story.

On the other hand Marvel has been aimless.
I don't know what their books have to do with any of the other crossovers.
Why did they do this House of M Avengers series? House of M ended 2 years ago.
The X-Men are too confusing for me to follow anymore. The Astonishing X-Men have been off on Breakworld and on Earth at the same time?
I will keep reading Spiderman because I want to see how it turns out.
I will always read any book related to the Avengers.
West Cost avengers was my shit back in the day.

Maybe they do need to replace Joe Q.

Agreed. I have no earthly idea when Marvel lost it's way, but man they need to find it quick. My major beefs:

- The X books all have Wolverine in them. He's everywhere, and in the Avengers books too! Look when I was 12 I thought Wolverine was awesome and cheered every time he showed up in the New Warriors, Alpha Flight, or whatever book the writers wanted to put him in, but it's just plain old now.

- I'm not a fan of the X-Force book. I know that is like a sin to say, but look at Cyclops in the book. The character that they called a 'choir boy' all these years have no problem sending the X-Men on a killing mission? Especially sending X-23, which is a child? That's kind of a stretch to me at least...

- One Avengers book is okay, while the other one is pretty whack. Look turning Ironman into a female Ultron had to be the dumbest thing I read in a long time...

- Don't give me cool story lines to ignore them later! Sub-Mariner ended on a cliff hanger. Silent War was a damn good book (yes I do love that book). And truly is there any conclusions that haven't lead to something else that won't conclude (Civil War to the Iniative. Iniative to the Secret Invasion. Secret Invasion to something else that will make little sense).

The good books to me at Marvel are the ones that deal with the heroes outside of the 'norm'. Daredevil, Punisher, Moonknight, and even Ghost Rider are good books that try to look past a bad continuity (sp) and just tell a good story.

at first i thought that Cyke was annoying for being such a bitch
now i can't stand him because he finally grew a pair and now he reeeeally acting like a bitch :hmm:

DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ X-FORCE #2. SPOILER ALERT!!!!
Hillarious! I just got done reading X-Force 2 and my big question is do your really think they would just say damn Wolfsbane, because she isn't part of the mission? Come on now that is a real streatch!

And what kind of backward ass logic is it about telling Wolverine it's his fault for her getting caught, and if she dies it's on his hands? Umm Cyke you are the one that sent her, and you are the one that don't give a damn if she lives or dies...

I'm not a fan. Cyke is a bitch.

That's because back then they would use Wolverine when the story needed him. I remember the Spiderman/Wendigo/Wolverine arc that Todd McFarlane did. It was a good story.
They really didn't need him appearing in the Penance series. The writers tried to tie it into the Namor/Wolverine/Nitro conflict. Then you have the "Logan" series which is just another Origin story
. Then the new Cable series is making Cable into a Wolverine clone. His personality is too grim.

- I'm not a fan of the X-Force book. I know that is like a sin to say, but look at Cyclops in the book.

I didn't like the first issue either, it's really no point to having this book back in rotation. I really don't like Cyclops, I never have. They need to do a "ONE MORE DAY" story for him. He needs a total overhaul.
When they let him TAKE the X-Men away from Xaiver i knew the writers were just throwing out all pass history.

Wow, the Charlton C0mics Universe post Crisis is going to be a movie.

DC heads will know this is a reference to Watchmen.

Where is the pic of Doctor Manhattan (Captian Atom) he is in the movie right?

Agree on both points. I remember that Wendigo story. That was a fun read.

Cyke needs an overhaul. I hope they do make him a skrull because his character seems so different than what he was. I've never been a fan, but I do understand why he needs to be part of the team. If they make him a skrull just think of the consequences that could happen!? The real Cyke shows up and looks at the 'we kill everything' X-Men and truly be shocked by that route. The real Cyke would of never ran off the Prof X.

Just wishful thinking that they can find a way to fix the book that I was so fond of when I was younger.

Two great points though.

Does anybody have any of those Marvel comics that were dedicated to 9-11?

If so...have they already been posted or can yall post some here?

X-Men, Spider-man and Captain America were the issues, right?

The last time I'll ask...anybody got any of these? I did a thread search and nothing came up. Thanks in advance.
