Minister Farrakhan is a man of integrity and who lets his love for his people guide all of his actions.
That being said - the NOI has had a policy of not involving itself in yt's tricks and games ie U.S. electoral politics for years. The Minister's love for Black people has guided him to violate this policy twice, first in an attempt to protect Jesse Jackson in his bid for the presidency of the U.S. and now to support Obama. His first involvement with Jesse was clearly a mistake and I'm not altogether certain this one isn't as well. You have to respect his motives and his unquestioned love and reverence for Black people but at times he appears to let his emotions cloud his judgment.

The problem with posting quotes is you can make them "appear" to say anything you want. Farrakhan explains that religion is not what you preach (claim), it is what you practice. Having said that, he says, many so-called jews use the name of god to do their dirty work...hence using the name of god to shield their dirty practice while claiming to be people of god. Just as the KKK claims to be christian people while lynching black people. Or, as white slavemasters claiming to be christian white murdering and enslaving millions of Africans. No different than people who sin Monday through Saturday, then think they can go to church on Sunday and its all good, they are good christian people.

This was a real class way to handle the matter. The hype that was brewing could have really caused a distraction to Obama on a small level. I am glad Farrakhan came out and squashed that ish immediately. I never thought I'd see this be diffused so quickly - by the offended party no less.
