Byrne definitely had the defining run on X-Men. I'll admit to having a soft spot for the Paul Smith and Mark Silvestri runs, though. Outside of the Dark Phoenix shit, my absolute FAVORITE X-Men story (and what I'm certain was Bendis' inspiration for the very underrated House of M), was X-Men/Alpha Flight - the Paul Smith Chapters. Those days are long gone. I'm convinced that Marvel was t he way it was because of the heavy hand of Jim Shooter. It was an excellent company then, and the man has never ceased putting out excellent work.

The place I get my downloads from is overseas and they don't seem to be having any problems ....yet.
They are pretty big but not exclusively a comics messageboard.

There is another general messageboard they has lots of rare links, but you wouldn't even know that they had comic links just by browsing.

If worst comes to worst PM me and I will hit some of ya'll off with the links. I don't want to post them here just in case.

But i think just the comic sites are the ones being targeted for now.

All of these links worked. but earlier today most of them didn't. Some people say RS got sued and were forced to close down intil it was settled.
