Feb. 14-17: All-Star Jam Session, Thursday-Sunday, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
Feb. 15: T-Mobile Rookie Challenge, Friday, New Orleans Arena
Feb. 16: Shooting Stars, Skills Challenge, Three-Point Shootout and Slam Dunk Contest, Saturday, New Orleans Arena
Feb. 17: All-Star Game, Sunday, New Orleans Arena

Mardi Gras is first week of Feb.--ain't that violent in the city just stay your ass where the events is going on--don't get curious crossin' over the avenues--they'll probably have HOB and Dream poppin'--maybe the Metro, i haven't seem anything yet

Tourism is our bread and butter and at this point fucking that meal ticket up could be overall disastrous for the city. Downtown and the Quarters during a big event is probably the safest place to be in New Orleans, NOPD, State Troopers and more just dont get your head bucked up and start walking down a street in a residential area.

We handle, New Years, Bayou Classic, Essence, Sugar Bowl, BCS Championship, Mardi Gras and beaucoup other shit, you'll be fine, just don't test yourself.
 
I hate to say it, but its going to be a bloodbath. I'm talking about some Ray Lewis type of shit. It going to be awful and it will be on CNN, MSNBC and especially Fox News.:smh:

Let these ignorant folks keep thinking the way they think. To say some of them are so "aware" of the issues around the country, they think what the media wants them to think. Stay your asses home, there will be plenty people down here enjoying themselves safely while you hide in your bunker with your bullet proof vest back home. Hell D don't trip any more, it just means more women for us.

Duece, now you know if niggas make that walk from Decatur to Bourboun on them side streets, the jack boys will be out. Not to mention...what about pre-katrina beefs & finally catching up with niggas. Personally, I'm in the N.O frequently. We planning on just throwing house parties over in Gretna & not even going into the city. This is an event unlike any the NO has ever had. Superbowls are close, but this is the new nigga holiday. Cats from all over will be there & the money will be out. Remember how Melo & Camron got GOT in LA or how them LA niggas made Vegas hood last year....only the cold kept niggas safe here in 06. N.O will be a mess, but I'll be there!!!

Vegas gotta be a lesson learned for the N.O. the Mardi Gras crowd is diverse and is gonna be drunker. During Mardi Gras you got the titty flashers and the fools following the titty flashers, and those who are following Parades.

The jack boys are gonna be out anyways, but those people in the French Quarter bitch enough about shit regardless, Nagin is gonna make sure the Quarter is loaded with Law, I know AS game isn't gonna be with out incident, I but I dont think a Vegas repeat is gonna happen either.

I'm with you on that, but the problem with Vegas is the problem that NO will have. With exception to the Strip, there's shit to do in LV, so niggas packed the strip left to right.The NO is ridiculously small with death-trap streets. Asides from Canal & the Quarter...there's no where else to go. There will a ton of niggas out, in limited space, bad things usually happen. What's good is there aint a mall for niggas to hang out at, so they'll be hitting all those lil shops on canal..hopefully that'll provide some sort of safety. I'm just tryna find some broads to lay up wit for the weekend!!

**If Dizzy will be performing somewhere, I might check that out...that nigga is fiya
