femme when i first saw the grey it bothered me because im only 36 but those two grey strands go with the grey on my head so its a matching set. :cool:

You have to be prepared for dreadlocks bredren. Feel the vibe first before you even make the attempt. Its really not the easiest thing to do. And know within yourself what your reasons are for growing. :)

just the maintenance alone is a lot of work and attention and i keep my hair in a ceasar fade just cause its neat and simple. but when you say mindset what exactly are you referring to?
 
Do you guys trim your own goatee or do y'all go to a barber shop?

Do you guys change it up for different looks?

I change it up, right now i have full beard. I try to keep it trimmed and/or go to the Barber shop to get it trimmed and shaped. I kinda have to because my goatee has this reddish/amber hairs in it at times (mom was a redhead)....ladies love it i hate it, it just looks out of place to me. Sometimes I'll take the straight razor to it due to the fact I'm a perfectionist and i want my shit done right, my homies'll see me with a straight razor and they'll jokingly say "Uh-oh this dude's gon' use a got-damn protractor to do his burns and goatee".....but yet they ask for a line up next :lol:

I think that's even sexier. I remember when Prince used to do a zig zag in his sideburns and I thought it was so hot. I like to see a dude try something new even if it's subtle because I'll notice it.

Nothing sexier than a man with a goatee, IMO. Nothing.

I dont deviate much from the trimmed stache, soul patch and small goatee. Add in long thin sideburns and the North Atlantic going on up top and Im straight. Aint changed since 98. Dont know many dude that dont do their on shit. Fuck goin to the barber every two days to keep the babyface.
 
It's easier to shape it up myself.. having to deal with waiting at the barbershop and all that bs is a pain.. I cut hair on the side so it's easy for me.. As far as the zig zags are concerned.. Not a fan of them.. But I'm not gonna hate of I see another man with em.. Just not my thing.. And Galvatron.. I thought I was the only peson who got the amber hairs and hated it.. Good to know I'm not alone..

No Goatee here cause I am usually clean shaven. IMHO I don't look good with a goatee, could be wrong. But I have long hair that I get done in all kinds of ways. Right now I am headed towards the dread locks look.
