True but I would NEVER use a debit card to do an online purchase anyway. I'll get the money back but that's MY money, my direct cash!! A credit card is the banks money.
But why conceal your id while making online purchases? Like if you are buying the stuff that show up in plain brown envelopes?

you can use debit cards with credit card insignias as debit or credit
using a debit card as a credit card when purchasing something entitles you to a long list of added benefits that most people dont know about
you can extend your warranty up to an additional 12 months - they will replace stolen items, all kinds of shit
you should read the booklets that come with all master card labeled items
I purchase anything expensive with my bank debit card as a credit card transaction. If something goes wrong and the store acts up I can initiate fraud charges and get my money back- do it as a debit card and NO HAPS
When I use paypal I use my debit card as a credit card - if the online vendor tries to fuck me I dont even have to submit a paypal dispute I could just call up my bank and tell them I was screwed and I didnt get what was ordered they do the investigation and my money is returned- thats if I didnt feel like fucking with paypal - that shit happens all the time which is why cats on here complain about having their paypal accounts locked or fucked up cuz someone filed a dispute or called their bank
Thats also why paypal always defaults any payments to your linked bank account unless you tell them otherwise multiple times
Why conceal your id when making online purchases? Maybe because hundreds of millions of people's identities are all in those bank and store databases and they get stolen everyday.
If you've used your credit or debit card with your real personal information at any tj maxx, marshalls etc store for the past few years until this past christmas your shit is took. Your name, addy, phone number, card number etc.
every single washington mutual customer has been switched from visa to mastercard because of identity theft at the company that processes ALL CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS FOR ALL STORES AND RETAILERS in 2006- it was a place in Atlanta
I have the link somewhere to the list of all consumer information thefts reported to this national organization - shit is long as fuck
People hack shit like Amazon etc on the regular then blackmail the companies in order for them to keep it quiet.
I know that was long winded - but you dont have to be a bad check writing dude in the market for a plastic vagina to want or need a prepaid debit card
