FUCK TESLA THREAD ( ongoing )

I'd never use that goofy shit. Once again, how hard is it to drive a car?!!!

I'd rather be responsible for the car I'm driving. I can relax at the house.

TO ME, it's dumb and lazy and only shifts the responsibility of driving to a computer. :smh:
I just could not relax knowing that I'm putting my life and other's lives at risk because I've turning over driving to computers.

It's just unsettling to me.

Once again, the tech is very impressive, just not for me.
See you're one of the guys iRobot was clowning.
"This fool inisists on driving" or some shit like that.

The tech could be magnificent and really change traffic and driving. But we're not there yet. If all the cars could communicate and optimize each roadway /journey...... man listen. But with that power comes a lot of responsibility, privacy concerns and more.

We may get there in the next 50 years but it won't be without a lot of obstacles and people's lives being lost
Bruvs I understand the apprehension, but the technology's safe and it's here.

There's taxis driving through cities and states with no driver, and we don't hear about them murking niggas.

I hear you....

But driverless cars are the minority on the road. So they operate cautiously and there's not thousands of them encountering regular drivers in a metro area. Autonomous cars understand how people are supposed to drive. But what happens when a large number of them encounter people that drive however the fuck they want?

Metro Atlanta, Houston, New York...... some of the wildest incidents on the road I've ever witnessed in person were visiting those cities. An Autonomous car might short fucking circuit seeing mfkrs swing across 3 lanes to the right..... then back 4 lanes to the left.

As far as the death comment, I mean there's not enough of them on the road across numerous stat lines to really gauge their safety. As it stands "rich" people have FSD. Now when it comes available on a chevy malibu or Hyundai Sonata.... then the real stats will come out.

I hear you, and it sounds like you have your mind made up.

Accidents are bound to happen no matter what. But if driverless cars or FSD wasn't safe, then it wouldn't be in use or available.

Again, I hear you.

Aye, I think the iRobot / Minority Report vision of driving in the future may be possible......

But that transition is the part I'm concerned about. In those versions of the future, the cars communicated with each other, made adjustments en masse on the fly, adapted to road hazards....etc. That takes a very robust communication network, a lot of synchronized processing power, cyber security, well maintained roads and public trust.

I see numerous corporations that would be willing to take shortcuts on every one of my issues if it meant they were the first to do it at scale.

@D24OHA

I can show you better than I can tell you. The cars maps everything around it, including people and cars. So there's no need to communicate with every car.

Again, I hear you though.

I didn't search for this, it popped up in my feed because of you!

I googled self driving for my previous post now look

No I don't expect you to watch the full vid, because I didn't and I'm not. Just sharing because the riders were also non-believers.

Self driving cars are much safer and if we could have all cars self drive accidents would be rare.

I self drive about 70% of the time because it is relaxing…lol I promise you, once you self drive, you would do it often..lol

I mostly use it around the neighborhood like going to Kroger, Publix, Costco, Walmart or to grab a bite to eat.

To each their own. I use it every single day to go to work. 45 minutes of meditation time to get my mind right is essential.

Driving is easy but FSD is even easier. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but for those of us who have it and are used to it, going back to actually driving yourself feels like a chore.

Let’s not even get started on road trips.

Bees don't waste time explaining to flies that Honey is better than shit. Obviously, that man is determined to be against FSD. He is ignoring statistics showing it is safer than a human driving. He is ignoring your actual experiences. Here you are describing your positive daily experiences with FSD and he is arguing without experiencing it himself. How ignorant is that? I'm sure he still flies in airplanes which he may or may not know are in autopilot during flight. Stop wasting your time arguing with people who are determined to hold their position rather than be accurate.

With more data showing FSD to be the safest option, I don't see driving being a common legal option in the future. Human drivers will not be able to get insurance and will be vulnerable to lawsuits if someone is injured because of their perception/reaction time, on their phone, or just made a mistake. Tesla's cameras offer more vision that human drivers,FSD will have much faster reaction time, and will do the perfect maneuver to provide the best chance of driver suitability in even of a collision. Everyday there are safe drivers that lose their lives because of an unsafe driver. I couldn't imagine choosing buy a car for my child to drive if I knew that a Full Self Driving car was much safer. I couldn't imaging the guilt for a parent if their child was injured of killed in a car accident over a mistake knowing that it wouldn't have happened if I chose to honor the data that FSD was a much safer option.

I'm loving FSD. It is way more relaxing to be a passenger in FSD than driving. Especially long trips.

What kind of car do you drive?
BMW why? Ain’t nobody at BMW spending a billion dollars to help re elect Trump and call Black people low IQ while running a company that openly trashes and discriminates against Blacks , that got sued recently for allowing staff to call Black Tesla porch monkeys and n words. A CEO who said whites face the most racism in the world. Motha fuck TESLA

Lies.... You can't sleep with it on anymore. The camera watches your face and your eyes to see if you're awake or watching the road. If it can't see your face or eyes it'll prompt you to move your steering wheel every minute or so.
I'm pretty certain that person is lying. Just like the guy that claimed he had it on when he drove into the building.

When was that update or change made because this video of a cybertaxi driver falling asleep is from November 2025 which would've been fsd v14..... which should've been supervised as well. According to the rider, the safety driver fell asleep 3 times and the taxi kept on rolling, not stopping at all.

Yes, you hear the ding/alert, but at what point will it stop and not continue to let a sleepy person stay behind the wheel?

Waymo is better at self driving than Tesla because it has more sensors not just cameras. I got stuck behind a cybercab in Austin that couldnt handle a concert crowd leaving.
