49ers

It's not a coincidence. Once we started putting Halton on the field for meaning for snaps out run defense
gotten better.
It's also not a coincidence that as soon as Williams comes back we look like we can stop the run.
We just need 1 pass Rusher

Hate to say it but Saleh isn't as good a coach as raheem

I'm hopeful raheem stays here as defensive head coach

He's getting the best out of every player and putting them in positions to win.

Suddenly our secondary is a strength and we legit have 3 starting safeties

Suddenly Green understands how to lock down

We do untimed blitzes not those well I can't get pressure here's a fire blitz like saleh

Jaden Dugger is someone who'd just sit outside
Instead he lined up in so many different ways

Mykel Williams was interior last year
He's on the edge and 1st game back literally destroyed 3 screens and his get off time was 3rd in the nfl...overall... out of everyone

Is he perfect. No
Is he really really good
Yes

I thought Robert Salah was pretty decent most of the time :dunno:
But he was a little too "vanilla" at times though
Raheem Morris seems to dial up blitz packages & pressures way better & way more frequent than Salah
To be honest our player personel on defense last year was not as good
Nick Bosa, Mikel Williams, Fred Warner were injured most of the year
Plus we didn't have the D-tackles stout enough to stop the run
I think Raheem might be slightly better than Salah, but its still too early in the season, so lets see how everything goes later on

This is year #4 for Ji'Ayir Brown, a contract year
The ninja wants to get paid, so thats why he's playing well right now ;)
Sigle & Mustapha actually looked pretty promising last year
But they were young rookies, so they just had some "growing pains" during year #1
Renardo actually looked good really his rookie season
But for some reason last year he went through a "sophomore slump"
I'm not sure what happened with Renardo, but he didn't play as well last year, as he did as a rookie or this year

Salah is overrated. Raheem has always been a better coach. He’s a better head coach too. He will be gone next year sadly and probably take over Salah’s job after he’s fired again.

Just looked at the film
Miscues on offense were there
Brock left too early in the 1st half

The interception tho is just what i thought
Brock read the coverage correct
Fucking COWING didnt

Outside was a go fade
Inside he was either supposed to sit down
Or keep to the sideline based on zone or man

Seattle played zone
Brock read zone
Cowing supposed to sit down in the spot and that's a completion. No gain but a completion

Instead
Seattle played zone
Brock read and threw zone and Cowing ran a man route

He can't be on the field unless its a go route he can't read coverages

Definitely not calling Saleh bad. He is pretty good and there's a reason why he's on his second head coaching job. Morris is better. Morris had Atlanta's defense plan really good last year and they're not good this year really. The personnel points are correct but also Saleh has had years with that personnel healthy which has worked out. My point is the creativity of it all is what he lacked. He believed in one thing and when it worked at worked when it didn't it didn't. You can't do a obligatory blitz. It's the same as when Kyle does. The regular HB dive that we all know is coming. Morse mixes things up, but more importantly he was a DB so that's why I'm giving him a little bit more credit for the DB section as a whole. But he is creative. There's just no way that duggard would be playing the different positions he played. Robert. There's also no way he would move. Mykel to where he should be which is on that edge he would have him bulk up and be in the center. I'm just amazed at the production he's getting out of the young players by putting them in their natural spots and giving them the confidence to play fast and strong and be really effective. I think that is his superpower.

He won't be gone. He's not getting a third chance and that stinks because of racism but good for us because I would love for this iteration of the niners to have their their Bill. Walsh and George Seifert situation going on. Best offensive mind and best defensive mind or second best because we got to acknowledge that Brian Flores is currently the best defensive mind
