UPDATE: Donald Trump Takes Office as the 47th US President

When I first heard this, I thought it was just internet rumors.

But major Corporate news outlets are now reporting it. They normally try to protect Trump, but if they report this story, then there must be truth behind it that they can’t hide.

There were credible independent news agencies reporting on it before legacy media dragged it's feet to report it months later. Just like how they slow walked the reporting most US bases getting destroyed 4 months later after credible news agencies around the world already covered it.

Training requirements

Entry-level applicants must complete required training courses and spend several months at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. Applicants are paid while in training. After graduating the academy, individuals are placed in locations across the country and must gain 2-3 years additional training, both classroom and on-the-job experience, before becoming a certified professional controller. This rigorous training includes close supervision and evaluation by senior controllers that ensures controllers are competent, professional, know their airspace environment and can deal with the pressures and high pace of the job.

Specific training requirements can be found in FAA Order JO 3120.4S.

Training is an ongoing process. Every controller undergoes Proficiency Training to maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to remain a certified air traffic controller.

I don’t doubt the training requirements. However, with this administration, who can we trust? What do you think the requirements are to become an Ice Agent? I’m just saying.

Uh oh, legacy media is not selling it anymore...

USS George Washington Heading West, Lincoln Deployment Nears 9 Months

The forward-deployed George Washington Carrier Strike Group was in the Strait of Malacca on Thursday, USNI News has learned.

Flagship USS George Washington (CVN-73), as well as cruiser USS Robert Smalls (CG-62) and destroyer USS Shoup (DDG-86), were in the Strait of Malacca after making a westbound transit through the Singapore Strait, a Navy official confirmed to USNI News. The Japan-based group is conducting their first patrol of 2026, having departed Yokosuka in May.

The George Washington Carrier Strike Group’s transit of the Strait of Malacca comes as the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group’s deployment to continue its extended Middle East.

USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) and its carrier strike group are in the Arabian Sea, where it has been since January. Abraham Lincoln has been at sea for 241 consecutive days – smashing a record of 206 days at sea set by USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The carrier, which deployed 265 days ago on Nov. 21 from San Diego, has not made a port call since Dec. 11 when it pulled into Guam. By Dec. 15, just four days later, Abraham Lincoln was operating in the Philippine Sea, according to the USNI News Fleet and Marine Tracker.

Abraham Lincoln was set to return in May but was extended as the U.S. remains embroiled in conflict with Iran.

While the carrier’s time at sea stretches on, family members have raised concerns to Navy leadership about mental health resources, supply shortages and water contamination on board Abraham Lincoln, according to media reports.

"President Donald Trump ordered the Navy to rip out the electromagnetic launch systems on its newest aircraft carriers, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The move will force the Navy to revert to steam catapults, and the reversal is expected to cost billions, The Journal reported. Trump signed a national security memorandum on Thursday directing the change, U.S. officials told The Journal.

The order would involve removing the electromagnetic catapult systems used by ships in the Gerald R. Ford class of Navy aircraft carriers. It keeps the electric systems on three carriers already being built but forces a switch back to steam on the future USS Doris Miller and every carrier after it.

For nearly a decade, Trump has been airing a grievance about electric systems on ships. In a 2017 interview with Time, he said he told the Navy to go back to "godd— steam" after a sailor praised the older system during a ship visit in his first term.

He has kept up the criticism since, according to The Journal. The electromagnetic catapults are "not nearly as good, too complex," Trump said last month at a Pennsylvania conference.

The White House framed the reversal as a return to proven hardware. The decision "will result in carriers that are enabled by battle-tested steam and hydraulic systems," it said in a statement to The Journal. The statement added that the shift would "reactivate portions of the maritime industrial base that are easier to scale."

General Atomics, which builds the electromagnetic system, pushed back, however. The decision "warrants careful reconsideration," the company told The Journal, and warned that changing course now "would introduce significant cost, schedule, and integration risks" with its USS Doris Miller work nearly half finished.

The company also cautioned that the move could benefit rivals by "potentially creating opportunities for adversaries to close the capability gap," per The Journal.

Defense analysts questioned the logic of the cost. Bryan Clark, a naval expert with the Hudson Institute, told The Journal, "Electric is more reliable," and pointed to early Navy data that shows the old steam carriers that Trump prefers cost about $100 million a year more to operate than the new electric Ford-class carriers."

Interesting now they have to do a whole new profile on the black guy. The black guy has a very good chance because as I was telling people Wisconsin is not a super liberal state it’s moderateDemocratic ish but it’s not super liberal.

BREAKING: Senator Captain Mark Kelly responds to Trump ordering the Navy to return to using steam catapults to launch jets from aircraft carriers—a move that Navy officials oppose:

“I’ve launched off the front of aircraft carriers hundreds of times, have a Master’s degree in aeronautical engineering, and am a test pilot and even I wouldn’t suggest to the Navy how to engineer specific systems on its ships. Donald Trump should stick to what he knows best — ballrooms, bankruptcy, and bullshit.”
