There's a lot of mystery around what Daniel Cormier tweeted then deleted involving Eric Trump and UFC Freedom 250.
Why doesn't he join with the Black faction of the DSA? And the idea that the Democratic Party, or politics generally, has moved to the far left is where he lost me. Maybe he just meant NYC specially but I'm definitely not seeing a far left move nationwide.
Yes the national democratic party is certainly not far left. I think part of what they are trying to do in NY is by pass the Democratic pro-israel pro-big corporate machine. As long as the national democratic party is getting millions from the tech bros, israel, the defense lobby, and the insurance lobby none of the major issues democrats care about will ever get fully realized. No universal healthcare, no tax the rich/corporations, no reduction of defense spending, no free education. We will have a sick uneducated poor consumer populace to feed corporate greed.
Notice he didn't mention one policy he disagrees with. He disagrees with them getting power. The problem the democratic establishment has is they know what their constituents want and they know they can't collect the money AND give the people what they want.

For years, Americans have been told that foreign interventions are necessary for our security. But if taxpayers are expected to fund both the destruction and the reconstruction, it’s fair to ask who actually benefits from these endless cycles of conflict.
