i mentioned in here how the knicks matched up well with the spurs. mainly because they got bigs who could effect wemby and make him work and players who could hit their outside shots. mitch and the spurs had no adjustment.....their whole defense is wemby and is predicated on the team funnelling the ballhandler to wemby on the inside. mitch had no counters for the knicks making the spurs chase them around for the whole shot clock and for when wemby was off the floor. in order to win mitch needs wemby to be special on both sides of the court ....every night...thats not sustainable

Even if it is sustainable its not a plan

In the presser after last night they asked what they could have done to slow brunson down and he said "have him score less points"
This is on the heels of fox is going to have the ball in his hands again at the end of the game and he made sure it happened in the face of their most consistent player having a master class off the bench

Even chuck said bench Fox and he doesn't call for ANYONE to get benched ever..... EVER

and Mitch ego told him to do this

The moment was too big in a way you can't recover from

He made no adjustments they run no offense they were up double digits in every game
The list is far too long

To be fair he answered every single question in both languages and complimented brunson and the Knicks

I think he has chosen this "villian" persona
