Never cared for mad tv the show.. had a few of their comic books.. but who the fuck thought this shit was funny.. sniggerss smh and you went with it willingly

I hate to admit it but Vlad did help his exposure increase to wider audience. Godfrey did ALL THE WORK but we can't ignore that part.
I love the show Godfrey does now.
Aries will never do that. He is CURSED with potential. He is a "never really was" because of his attitude not his talent.
His ego and self hatred and jealousy won't allow him to be a success.
Godfrey is always willing to learn be humble and admit he is wrong. And has a strong network of friends in the business.
Aries has his fans and he's gonna do his shows, he'll be aight.
He just won't be on Vlad anymore which limits his exposure.
That show was funny and had classics and wanted to be the dangerous version of SNL and started to slowly disintegrate.
And a lot of those performers turned out to be assholes.
And crazy the producers thought key & peele weren't stars?

I think being on Vlad had to help tocket sales.
And more importantly he COULD have cleaned up his image using those interviews wisely to not only go viral but repair some past damage
That youtube show has been around since 2014, Vlad just gave him a tad bit recognition amongst young blacks. Godfrey social media popularity increased during the pandamic cause comedy touring was shutdown so he focused on insta doing skits and imitations
Compared to Lord Jamar whose numbers bately increased , though he cooned out and went back to Vlad with his tail tucked . Remember he and Godfrey agreed they wouldn't fick with VLAD after the Farakkhan situation
