If that was to happen TRUST and BELIEVE they have the money and resources to fight it lol

This ain’t the typical black church in the USA. I know for a fact they have some Harvard trained, Stanford trained lawyers that attend and only a phone call away.

They already dropped $1 million to pay the rent of local families in northern Va from getting evicted.
But it cost money. This is why ABC settled against Trump. This is like that doctor that is suing findablackdoctor.com. He just has to give the case to the DOJ and they take it from there. This is their job paid for by our taxes. Do these lawyers work FOR the church? Are they going to work Pro Bono? And if so is the firm they belong to okay with that, seeing as we saw a bunch of law firms roll over for the Trump administration last year.

This is the new normal for this country. But both sides are the same, right? Voting doesn't matter, right? We are all we got and they're making it that we can't even support ourselves! They aren't doing this with the Jews! That whole Kars 4 Kids old ass fiasco, they're ONLY sending money for Jewish kids. But the minute we setup a website that's discrimination? A motherfcuker had a whole ass city JUST for white people, but that magically wasn't discrimination.

South Carolina White are seeing the writing on the wall when it comes to South Carolina population activate more Black people to vote and guess what’s going to happen.

You right about that...56% of voters in the state vote republican and if they activate more black folks to vote, alot of people would lose their seats....

I don't know how to feel about this. I honestly don't want shyt to do with people that thought Trump would do the opposite of what he said he was going to do. I also know we aren't gonna get anywhere without them. I feel like they need to be like that white person that comes to the cookout ONLY because they married into that family so you have to welcome them...I guess. But they need to STFU and just hang out. The minute you start asking: "How do you play spades?" or "Are you sure she wants her steak cooked that long?" They got to go!!!

Black men who voted for former President Joe Biden in 2020 and then for President Donald Trump in 2024 have soured on the president, expressing concern about the president’s leadership, the economy, and skyrocketing gas prices. But they’re also frustrated with another group — the news media.

A focus group conducted on Wednesday by the Democratic firm Navigator Research, which HuffPost was allowed to view, revealed that these men have chosen to divest from what they believe are mainstream media outlets and largely get their news from nontraditional outlets and independent creators on platforms like YouTube.

“I used to watch a lot of mainstream news, but they’ve been bought out,” said a 45-year-old Black man from Decatur, Georgia. “I go on YouTube, watch a lot of podcasters, independent — Joe Rogan, Meidas Touch. I watch everything.”

Most of the men in the focus group cited social media as a primary source for news. Others mentioned local news stations and newspapers as more trustworthy platforms.

A participant from Detroit mentioned that even though he primarily gets his news from YouTube and podcasters like Joe Rogan, he trusts his local FOX station. “I don’t believe half the stuff that CNN puts out,” he explained.

Another participant explained that while he still watches MS NOW and CNN to gain a broader perspective on what’s happening around the world, he leans toward independent journalists like Roland Martin because he feels they are more likely to tell the truth with no constraints.

“[Mainstream media] seems more controlled now. The big news outlets seem more controlled in what they can release to the public,” the 55-year-old from Atlanta said.

Their responses follow a broader trend of Americans who have lost trust in news outlets. A 2025 Gallup poll found the country’s trust in mainstream media has dropped to a historic low of 28%.

They also fit into growing Democratic worries about how to reach the voters who decide elections. Many Democratic donors and operatives rushed to point to the growing popularity of podcasts as a reason voters with an anti-establishment bent backed Trump in 2024, setting off an oft-mocked conversation about the push to find a “liberal Joe Rogan.”

The focus group largely blamed Trump for the country’s dire state, citing a lack of leadership within the administration. “I didn’t agree with Obama, but he is an example of a good leader,” said a participant from Atlanta. Pointing to Trump’s billion-dollar “anti-weaponization fund,” he continued: “As a leader, you don’t put your self-interests first. You put your constituents’ best interests first.”

Trump’s poor leadership has a “ripple effect,” said the participant from Decatur, Georgia, adding, “All Americans are being negatively affected by this administration.”

Hawaii just made history, becoming the first state in the nation to effectively ban dark money in elections. The new law takes a novel approach: rather than trying to restrict corporate speech, it redefines the powers corporations have in the first place — and political spending is not among them. The strategy, known as the “Corporate Power Reset,” was developed by Tom Moore of the Center for American Progress. And at least a dozen states are now working toward passing similar laws.
