Unless the resellers buying up EVERYTHING at cost? Makes the majority of the real buyers feel less inclined to even make a real effort to buy Nike?
Losing brand confidence is a big deal, Especially from your core. If parents get tired of the reselling price hikes it damages the brand OVERALL.
And worse makes existing and potential customers look at OTHER brands when perhaps that wasn't really as prevalent before.
I used to be a diehard Nike loyalist and knew most family and friends were the same.
Nike isn’t the default go to any more and we can directly point to the resellers as ONE of the main reasons.

It was an honest question, but they've already played together for years at UCONN so it's not really a question that needed to be asked.

Yes you COULD ask that question because their "relationship" would definitely have an effect on the locker room team dynamic coaches snd organization.
If a coach/player had his son on the team like Doc or LeBron that question is fair.

we have known about teammates fighting over ex wives and girlfriends and gambling debts etc.
Two players allegedly dating would be a fair question if asked well.
