I gotcha. I think the main problem we have (universally, as an electorate) is that too many people respond to cries of their being a problem with blunt action, and that those people then fail to consider the actual solutions to the problem.

If the cost of living is really too high (which is what the GOP likes to complain about when they aren't in office), then what is the actual solution? Not just saying, "I'll lower prices!" What is the actual plan for doing that? Will it temporarily cause a hardship, and is that something we could endure to come out of the other side better?

But as long as so many people just vote with their anger and their hatred over common sense, we won't be able to make any real progress.

The plans already there, everything is based on the Nordic model, higher taxes for social programs (ie, medi4all, paid schooling through college, medical leave,).

Its all about want to. If democrats want to govern they will win.

I watch/listen to C-SPAN on a fairly daily basis. The number of pro-trump callers that call in on a daily basis (they rotate the calls between Democrat/Republican/Independent) is depressing as hell.

Those folks don't give a shit about personal pain as long as the libs are getting owned.

If it's something that they can't deny Trump fucked up, then it's well he just fixing the mess Obama/Biden created.
