2026 Chicago Bears Off Season Thread

BRUH that would be huge, we need depth on the front 7 and OLINE

Hopefully we can find a capable LBs/DT/Edge at the 2nd rd and 3rd rd like the Browns did with
LB-Schwesinger in the 2nd round, SS-Kyle Hamilton with the Ravens
and DT-J.T. Tuimoloau with the Falcons(3rd rd)

Coby Bryant to the Chicago Bears (three years, $40 million) is an exciting deal. He is a combo safety with a cornerback background, so he can wear a lot of hats for a Bears secondary that's going through a makeover. He's an impactful tackler when closing from depth, and that will allow the Bears to play more of the two-high structure Dennis Allen prefers.

Bryant blossomed under Mike Macdonald in Seattle, and he might get stressed more in space in a less-loaded Chicago defense, but he was the best safety available in free agency. Big win for Chicago. -- Ben Solak, NFL analyst
