What do you considered educated? If someone is highly intelligent but doesn't have a degree or didnt finished high school would you say they are not educated? Lot of countries teachings are different than America in where Americans are given multiple choice to answer questions and other countries they aren't given choices they must know the right answer.. Some would say America is easier compared to other countries learning system.. In fact kids can graduate in America with low reading and math skills due to the no child left behind system.. Now a person can have a high school diploma yet have an elementary / junior high reading and math level.. Now a kid in a poor country can learn from reading books but not necessarily go to school due to economics or politics in their country, that kid technically be smarter than the kid from America with an high school diploma but don't necessarily have the documents or paperwork to show it.
