Thanksgiving costs are down from last year, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation, but budgets remain tight for many this season. "CBS Saturday Morning" has some ways to save on your feast this year, including how to use AI to cut costs.

Costco $5 rotisserie chicken it is
Costco $6 pumpkin pie it is

You didn't need ai for that
NO ONE makes a better rotisserie chicken...... everyone tries but never come close....Costco even ran away with Boston Market's rotisserie game..... I wish that they made a rotisserie turkey too, at least around Thanksgiving if not all the time..... they don't have to sell it dirt cheap

They would probably have to get machines that only do turkeys and it probably take longer to make , also chicken is the more popular poultry in America right now. So doing it seasonal might not be financially worthy to them as far as getting machines just for turkeys , the demand not as high for all yr sale, or don't want to use the same machine as the chicken but slowing down the production .. also the $5 sale has been one of their biggest ploys to get coming through.. they actually lose money on them chicken but it's a biz stragety on why they do it.. we posted those segments

They could sell them at a higher price....... Boston Market did..... and if they taste as good as their chicken does, I'm sure that it'd be worth that higher price....
sidebar: they'd make them wuith smaller turkeys, Boston Market used some small ass ones and charged a high ass price

The best rotisserie I've ever had was from Cluckers. I miss that spot. :smh:

I already knew what this was as soon as I saw the still shot, but again like I said..... they don't have to sell them dirt cheap or at a loss.... Boston Market sold their turkeys daily and I'm sure that Costco could sell them at a profit too.... I'm sure that it would be worth it and probably cheaper than B.M.

Takes hr to 75 mins to make rotisserie chicken.. takes 2hrs to 3 hrs and 30 mins for turkey .. double to triple the time of making chicken.. longer to make, cost more for the product, and selling price might be more expensive.. these are the things you have to take in consideration, when mass producing and also demand.. would be nice but can see why they don't.. me personally I wish they made sweet potato pie

Well Imma say that only a certain amount would/could be made daily or by special orders at least a day or two in advance...
sidebar: as for the cost of the product, turkey can be got, a whole turkey at Walmart is a little over a dollar a pound and Costco would definitely get it cheaper at a bulk rate price. Even if they sold it for $25-30 they would sell, twice the price of the turkey itself
