Lol I wasted hundreds of dollars on this game back in the day...it took all money comic book money..the game developer was shady as fuck...no one I knew ever made it to the end of the game..the graphics were so cold for the 1980sI need to buy Dragon's Lair so I can destroy the game with a hammer....., it's the worst stand-up video game I ever played. What a waste of tokens....

Yeah, mine has over 4000 arcade and home console games. Paid about $2800 on Amazon. I lost interest after about a month or two.
Seems like the trend kinda came and went but that means people who are into this can probably get them at good prices or get better setups.
I'd personally love a USB verson of the NES/SNES Advantage.
I am soooooo glad I didnt go all in on one of those like I was planning.......Instead, my dumbass went all in on a racing rig/PC/steering wheel pedals etc......even purchased a few simulation racing games.......
MAN THAT SHIT IS COLLECTING MAJOR DUST IN MY MANCAVE....LOL
RetroArch and Launchbox together is a win...I don't even have the room but to save space I just use a program called RetroArch for the PC that has a bunch of emulators built in. Just have to source the ROMS for the games and you can play damn near every console/arcade game created.
What racing games do you run? I got some updated pedals and pedal stand a month ago. Found the stand refurbished on Ebay for like $40. I usually run Assetto Corsa and have a huge library of all my dream cars.
I bought:
Automobilista
Project Cars 1 & 2
Grid 1
Grid 2
Forza Horizon
These games made me realize, I dont like driving games as much as I thought I did.
Need For Speed and Burnout were more my speed

Shiiddd, I wanna sell mine. Anyone in the DMV who's interested, DM me to arrange a deal and pick up.Seems like the trend kinda came and went but that means people who are into this can probably get them at good prices or get better setups.

Nice. You got into Sim and Sim-cade racing which is a little more involved. I've learned through sifting through their forums that it is highly competitive and if you race online you'd better be good af or you'll anger everyone.
Main thing is you have to find "the line" when racing and know when and which gear to get into.
I have Dirt, Need for Speed, Burnout, all of that but Assetto Corsa is my shit. I don't even race, just download cars and maps and drive around and try to top speed shit. Mind you, it's a simulator at heart so laser scanned tracks, realistic ffb settings, physics, etc. I have a shifter so it makes it even more fun. The modding is so extensive you can make it look damn near like real world.

I had been endlessly searching for one that had Killer Instinct, Ninja Gaiden, or Soul Caliber. Shit is hard to find.I am soooooo glad I didnt go all in on one of those like I was planning.......Instead, my dumbass went all in on a racing rig/PC/steering wheel pedals etc......even purchased a few simulation racing games.......

Thanks, but I would want a full-size cabinet (not a table-top) and I am not handy at all so no way I could build my own.You can build your own cabinet, possibly a counter top sized unit using just a Raspberry Pi. I have a buddy who built his own.
Here's an example:

2-Player Bartop Arcade Machine (Powered by Pi)
2-Player Bartop Arcade Machine (Powered by Pi): The 'Galactic Starcade' is a DIY retro bartop arcade cabinet for two players. It is powered by the Raspberry Pi micro-computer and plays multiple types of retro games - primarily NES, SNES, Megadrive and arcade (MAME) games. Using a Pi keeps the cos…www.instructables.com
I was actually thinking about building a coffee table unit for my living room since I have an ikea coffee table with hidden drawers and a couple of raspberry pi lying around.
Bruh.Friend of mine has one. Wife complained about the noise, so he has to play with no volume. He says it sucks only getting half the experience.
Tell the wife to go into another room or put some headphones on. Problem Solved!Friend of mine has one. Wife complained about the noise, so he has to play with no volume. He says it sucks only getting half the experience.

and I've never seen a four player video game, that's wild.

I have this one, got it with a Mr Do machine( no longer have) from a pizzaria in Montclair, next to the Acura dealer on the corner of Bloomfield Ave & rt 23, that was closing up. I still have the Stargate(Defender II) in my garage..... If you got the room DO ITI'm thinking about buying one tomorrow to put in my man cave.
Yeah, no man should allow women to tell them what to do. He should had them divorce paper's ready immediately after she said some dumb shit like that.Or get a new wife![]()

I used to see them a lot for years at Berlin Flea Market In New Jersey.
That NBA JAM used to be in pizza hut back then on 69st across the street from formally known as sears In philly back then!
Yeah, these were great times for us growing up with it now being gone.I miss Jersey flea markets. I used to hit the one up in Union and the one off the Turnpike near exit 9 that is now a theater.
His wife is chill, but she's never been into video games. A divorce would cost way more than that game did.Yeah, no man should allow women to tell them what to do. He should had them divorce paper's ready immediately after she said some dumb shit like that.
Yeah, but I'm not gonna let her tell me to turn it down because it's either she gets some headphones or go to another room. She's not his mother to tell him that and not even his mother could tell him what to do in his own house. His wife is chill, but she's never been into video games. How to Build Your Own NES or SNES Classic with a Raspberry Pi and RetroPie
The NES Classic Edition is an official clone of the original Nintendo Entertainment System, and one of the best ways to play your favorite retro games.www.howtogeek.com

Ebay is a gamble since you never know if you're getting something new or used!If you can find a NES to USB adapter you are in business, but they are hard to come by.
Edit: found one on Ebay

So, you never once brought anything brand new from ebay?Just vet the vendors well. I pay attention to the description and if I think it may not be legit, message the vendor and ask questions. I haven't been burnt yet. I do buy refurbished or gently used and have no issues.
