There's a problem in China, though, the lack of women....there's a huge men-women imbalance.
China ended their one child per family policy in 2015; however, much of the damage had already been done because the male children were prized more so even some families abandoned their first-born female children, some were sent to orphanages and even others were given up for international adoption. Those who kept their first born female child would be considered lower status, subsequently, in this cultural climate, the male baby population boomed.

I've watched more of the JAV content the past year. The uncensored stuff without the blurring / pixelation. Some nice honeys and quality titties / lack of BBLs & numerous tattoos like American pornstars, etc. Have to keep the volume level at VERY low levels due to the whining and moaning though, lol. they have an aging generation thats set to burden the country and a disillustioned younger population that dont want to make the same mistakes and decisions their parents and grandparents made. The same thing is happening in the US... alot of the population growth thats happening is coming from immigrants (legal or otherwise) not from fucking. Thats why trump and his white nationalist cohorts are kicking out as many black and brown they can in his term. Cuz the white population isnt fucking and producing enough white kids to maintain a population majority.
One thing I've definitely noticed too is that the cost of living has fucked with everything. Many people waiting until later in life to start their families. I.E. - seeing high school and college classmates have their first kids in their mid- to late-30s once they'd established themselves with careers they'd been working since their early-20s. Now they're in their 40s with kids preparing to start elementary school.
I've mentioned the real estate market locally a few times on the board. Just for comparison's sake. Looked at the stats from my childhood home online. Mentioned it to my parents and they were like WTF. It's a modest 3-bed, 2-bath. They bought it in the mid-120s in the early-80s.
My mom sold it in 2001 in the 310 - 318,000 range.
The siblings who bought it sold it at a loss 3 years later in 2004 for just under 198,000.
The older couple who bought it in 2004 have held onto it to this day. My dad happened to bump into them by chance at a doctor's office earlier this fall and they mentioned where they lived. Turns out they bought the house just over 20 years ago. What a small world! They told him to call and come by anytime to see the changes they've made in updating the place over the years (i.e. - reno'd kitchen). I've driven by there a few times over the years and the place looks the same, if not worse, than when I lived there. I.E. - more exposed with trees and shrubs cut down.

Okay, only because you said it, that I believe it.
That's not true, no one looked down at families with a female child, it's just that, like everywhere in the world male kids are prized because they carry on the family name and also, it's a male dominated world. As far as adoption, that defeats the purpose of the one child policy. If a woman has five daughters and gives them all up to have a son, how does that help China's population problems? I'm sure any child that was given up for adoption, counted against the family, and they wouldn't get the free education for the next child. The reason they have a woman shortage in China is because they were aborting all the female fetuses.
What you said isn't true, because the abortions were to limit family sizes not to determine the gender the baby. A male child is related to social status, because when Chinese parents are nearing retirement age, the male child is supposed to take care of his parents financially while a female is typically married off to her new family so she not tasked with financially caring for her parents. That's directly related to social status, and the financial well-being of the ageing parents.
Also, sometimes a female child is abandoned on the streets or given to an orphanage, thus increasing the male to female divide in favor of the males. The abandonment happens, because male births were more prized and the parents would try to have another child, this time a male instead of a female.
