Luigi Mangione now has a site detailing the best ways to send him fan mail
Mangione's site includes a statement from the accused murderer—and requests that people send him no more than five photos at a time.
It’s not every day you get to write the sentence “Accused murderer Luigi Mangione has been getting so much fan mail he had to put up a web site entailing the proper procedures to send him books and photos of yourself.” But it is this day, on account of accused murderer Luigi Mangione putting up a web site entailing the proper procedures for people to send him books and photos of themselves. As confirmed by Rolling Stone, luigimangioneinfo.com is an official site put up by Mangione’s legal team, providing information on the status of the man accused of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s murder.
Among other things, that includes a statement from Mangione himself, his first public words since he was arrested for Thompson’s death:
I am overwhelmed by – and grateful for – everyone who has written me to share their stories and express their support. Powerfully, this support has transcended political, racial, and even class divisions, as mail has flooded MDC from across the country, and around the globe. While it is impossible for me to reply to most letters, please know that I read every one that I receive. Thank you again to everyone who took the time to write. I look forward to hearing more in the future.
Besides giving viewers updates on the various cases against Mangione—he’s being tried by New York, Pennsylvania, and the federal government—and links to contribute to his legal fund, the site has a fairly extensive FAQ that spends a lot of its time describing the whats and hows of sending Mangione stuff. (Only books, letters, and pictures, by the way.) That would include what we would characterize as a fairly wild paragraph, in so far as what it implies about the kind of attention Mangione has been getting since Thompson’s death on December 4, 2024:
Due to the volume of photos, they could take longer than usual to be screened and shared. Luigi appreciates the photos that are sent and kindly asks that people send no more than five photos at a time. Please note that every photo that is received is screened and reviewed by law enforcement.
The celebrity aspect of Mangione’s notoriety has been an inextricable aspect of the case ever since Thompson’s death, with many dubbing him the “hot assassin,” and being less than sympathetic to the fate of the insurance CEO. In addition to all the fan attention, Mangione’s story has also drawn filmmakers: At least two different documentaries about his life and alleged crimes are now currently in the works.
Even though I'm trim, I gotta be an ally to my fat brothers and sisters.
If this guy was fat, he'd have like four people writing him and wouldn't have to limit photos.

If I gained weight tomorrow, would you still like me?
If I wasn't trim no more, would you still write me?
If I pigged out daily and my waist grew exponentially,
Could I count on you to be there and love me consistently?
If I went from lean to plump, would you wait to jump on Hinge?
Or would you poof and disappear like you were in my fridge?
If I got too heavy and my confidence took a dive,
Would you be down to hit the gym and join me for a ride?
I hit the drive-thru, grab some fries, eat 'n' drive,
I'm askin' questions just to know how you feel inside
If I ain't rap 'cause I ate all the burgers at Burger King,
Would you be ashamed to ask the cashier to refill my tea?
In the bed, if my love handles grew, would you look mad?
If I wrote you a recipe, would you cook that?
Now, we could have a little bite, you know, a midnight snack,
And we could go hit the buffet, I know you like that
