Damn is still in control of all if their assets and only set up a family office in order to move and protect any money and assets he had from the mounting creditors including the IRS.

But it isn't as if this won't be obvious to the judge and others overseeing his bankruptcy so he should stop worrying about trying to save face and doing all this interviews discussing these moves.

I had a feeling it was a prop up to try to trick the judge moving his money to his family when he'll still be in control of it like you've said.

Full Disclosure: I'm not from Harlem and have never resided there so I don't understood it either.

Also, Dame made multiple attempts to remain and later re-enter the music industry which failed for one reason or another.

For example, he worked with Currency who sued him over Dame releasing his music without his consent and won $1.5 million. He also worked with the Black Keys who had some issues with him and cut him back but I can't recall the specifics.
