Dame released an awful trailer for his version of Paid in Full 2 a year ago and nothing happened.
First, I doubt Dame has had the rights to the Paid in Full story this whole time. Dame is one of five producers on the film and it was distributed by Miramax. He didn't write or direct it either. Considering all that I can't see how he'd be the sole owner of the rights at anytime.
And remember the primary catalyst for what is now happening is that Dame has lost multiple lawsuits in recent years for allegedly claiming movies that be didn't own.
Second, Dame is not a writer/actor/director, etc. I know he's done all three but he's honestly never shown any talent or skill with any of them despite his fronting.
Therefore 50 and Cam linking up to develop a series means it is likely to actually get done and with a professional quality.

Normally I'd agree but none if this benefits Dame in anyway.
He'll get limited clicks off of this but after it will make people less likely to click in anything he's involved in.
