You really can’t be serious comparing a time when a house cost 5,000 to today where the average Oakland home is a million.
Not to mention even if you want to use that stupid ass example. Nobody going to the Central Valley where it’s 120 degrees 3/4ths of the year. Ain’t nobody doing farm work in Salinas or chowchilla for $20 an hour. Get the fuck outta here with that non sense .
You think niggas are going to commute 3 hours each way to those rural shit hole farms in deadly heat while dealing with Valley fever disease and heat stroke for some fucking peanuts? Your troll game is absurd
Lmbao what in the fuck. You acting like you have some hidden top secret knowledge that somehow makes you right . You think it was only here that Black people worked on farms? You think the agriculture business has not grown 20 times since the 60’s? You think farms are the same size? Shit is much different now, scale wise and production wise. The population has doubled since then. Inflation and home prices don’t even compare to that time. You are arguing with me about something you don't know about and you are using CAC talking points in your argument. In the 60's and 70's picking agriculture was very common and popular amongst black folks in Oakland. Every summer, my father's whole neighborhood (deep East Oakland) hopped on a bus that left West Oakland in the morning to pick grapes in Napa or apricots and plums in Marysville. The whole neighborhood did this in the summer. My father got payed $10 a day back then which was good money for a 12 year old. Of course the pay would be appropriately higher now. $20/ hour is $160/day which is good money for a 12 year old now. That is more money than selling candy or weed nowadays. The work wasn't hard. Kids and elderly folks were out there. Because there were so many of us out there, it was fun too. The idea that we NEED illegals to do this now because everyone else is too lazy is CAC talk. Today we complain about the young folks doing crime and unproductive shit because they "have nothing else to do" while at the same time giving the low skill easy jobs to illegals. 1 in 3 jobs in California were filled by an immigrant worker. Immigrants really started doing these jobs in the mid 80's and 90's. Who do you think did all of these jobs before them?

Why are you still talking about an entirely different era where 12 year olds were allowed to do hard labor . You can’t be serious, 12 year olds are not even allowed to legally have a job today. WTF and it was fun? Lmbaooo you’re trolling now. Cac logic? You act like Black folks don’t farm, we hire illegals too. It’s not “Cac” logic to want the cheapest labor possible to maximize profit that’s CEO logic. You have very simple child like ideology and don’t understand how business or modern society works.
Nobody , not even Mexican Americans are going to work in a fucking field picking produce for $20 an hour. GTFOH. Illegals do it here because they send the money home and can save their whole families on that little money. They all live in shitty conditions here to help back home. Americans living here on that money would be in poverty doing back breaking horrible work . It’s better to get 2-3 jobs than do that shit
Complete non sense , also calling back breaking farm work easy is clown shit . You’re always wrong no matter what the topic isYou seem to be more focused on debating me and proving that you are right than having a legitimate discussion. Your responses highlight how little you know. You keep making an assumption that all agricultural work is hard labor even though kids and elderly folks did and continue to do it. As an example, my father describes getting plums by just putting a blanket under a tree and shaking the tree. Then dumping the plums into boxes. He remembers getting 35 cents a box and $10 a day. Easy work. The CAC logic that you are using is that the assumption that only illegals will do the work because everyone else is too lazy. I am countering that logic by informing you that Black folks willingly did it prior to illegals and don't describe it as particularly hard or non appealing work. As he describes it, I'd rather do it than many of the security, nursing assistant, warehouse, and hustling jobs that many low skilled, uneducated black folks currently do. Not only is many of the agricultural jobs easy and not that laborious, but currently, many of those folks are smoking weed, drinking, listening to music and talking shit while out there. It aint like slavery. They take breaks when they want and get paid according to their production rather than hourly.
My point is that Agriculture jobs employed Black folks for decades prior to immigrants taking them. I gave you some history and an account of someone who did it. I also gave you some education and an example of how easy the work is. Without immigrants, Black folks are likely to work these jobs with higher compensation. These jobs are often easier and less dangerous than the jobs that our underclass currently work.

Shits insane , it’s like he has a 6 year olds brain. Hit almond trees with a baseball bat and all the almonds will fall to the ground and your day is over!!!! YAY!!!!!!!
Have the youth just place a blanket underneath plum trees while shaken, and things in America will economically balance out![]()
