Thought I was alone. There’s a few I rode with, but the brotha can’t articulate himself. “So, I mean, I was like, this is some bullshit. And, you know, what’s crazy is, like, people be like, on some nonsense that I’m, like, yooooo, that’s messed up!”Most of these podcasters need to take a speech class. How I'm going to learn or listen to you when you sucking your teeth, make noises with your mouth while talking or damn near about to choke because they do not know how to breathe while talking and gathering their thoughts. Discounts whatever message you are trying to get your audience to understand.
I don't get what's the unpopular opinion?
The rest of us aren't interested but you are and are trying to fuck?

No but for real, what's the unpopular opinion?
Gotchaif you watch the interviews?
they actually answer questions (from their perspectives) that are usually difficult to reconcile.
like life after death, celibacy, sexuality, life choices, fetish, why people are one way, why they see life a certain way etc.
Many of their views on life society sex and religion would be unpopular on here.
Her smile has an energy to it. She’s very cute.Cree Summer is strangely attractive to me. She doesn't have that universal appeal, But her overall vibe and cool is unmatched. Whenever she's on screen I feel drawn to her

Just wow...
"Sometomes people argue about facts but are really trying to get to the truth of what matters to them."
You gotta respect it.
I respect Tyler Perry wearing the dress, others not so much.
I used the word respect because I respect it.I wouldn't use the word RESPECT but I get it.
But why him and not others?
I used the word respect because I respect it.
He's playing a character, a character that he created that was a mixture of women in his life growing up.
He did that, he created the character and no one made him put on the dress. That's his creation, his art and his interpretation that he expressed that made him a billionaire.
I wouldn't put on a dress. But that's him, his creation his art and what he wanted to make to express to the world.
I respect it, you don't have to but many others do.
I apologize we're talking about two different things. That is powerful statement.
I don't know if I respect it but i understand and I can appreciate it.
I can also understand any actor who chooses to do the same.
I also UNDERSTAND why many black people dont like it.
I don't agree.
Eddie Murphy for example proved that is the performer and the performance that truly matters.
Godfrey overall point was powerful especially when he can calmly explain why. And more importantly challenge casting agents and ask THEM why which to me is the most important question.
I apologize we're talking about two different things.
I agree with everything you said as well as I agree and appreciate Godfrey standing up and voicing his opinion.
My statement and point is that Tyler Perry shouldn't be mentioned in the same space as what they're talking about, because Tyler's art is his art and he wasn't made to put on a dress.
That's a character that he created with no involvement from any higher ups to get him to put on a dress.
They weren't "Forced" to wear a dress as they could've simply said no. But many had this happen early in their careers where money and roles were tight, so they might've felt that they had to do it.Oh oh oh I get it. I agree with you.
But I would argue I dont believe any black actor was FORCED to wear a dress. When I hear dudes on the board rail against that I dont buy it 100%
Actors refuse for ton of reasons male female black white. Nudity sex scene homosexual content religious content language whatever.
You don't wanna do it? Fine
I refuse to believe that decision derailed an entire career.
Now maybe does it make you look difficult? Especially 20 25 years ago? Okay I see that.

Yeah bit you still wanna peak inside the house...I’m tired of how aware women are of their attractiveness and its powers nowadays. Modesty is a thing of the past. It’s like revving a luxury car engine at every light to get more attention. It gets annoying after a while.
It’s all in your face on social media, women are fully aware of their vaginal market value and simps making it worse leading to staggering inflation and false scarcity. That house is not really worth $700k I don’t care what you say.

i see it as a race to the bottom. there is a tipping point when men see the game as not worth it, in a big way due to technology and social media. women have to do more and more to get noticed [by the men they want], especially as they start the downside of their peak powers. they are competing against each other for the scarce resource, it's just that men either [a] are not there yet where they can attract that kind of attention, off the market, or [c] uninterested in the race
look at ig and tiktok...they have to do more to get the same attention. nothing is outrageous anymore
If you go back 50 years ago you saw the "Flip Wilson" show were he would play "Geraldine Jones."Oh oh oh I get it. I agree with you.
