I had this argument with a few people back then. What you’re saying, is understood but it WAS a sucker punch cuz all he did was push his TEAMMATE out his face. Clearly not wanting to fight. The 76ers aren't even pretenders at this point. They're barely a step or two ahead of the District. Just a rest haven for expiring contracts. No one wants to play 20 to 50 games per season with Embiid.

The biggest impacts will be realized on the back end behind the scenes. The Buss family paid players and treated them well, but the infrastructure has been lacking… meaning a fully built out front office, scouting resources, analytics, etc. Also, the new owner will be able to build his own crib. Lakers do not own Crypto arena. They will now build their own or possibly just buy out the management group that currently owns the arena.
