Van Vleet taking that cut gives us access to the full MLE which is about $14 million...

Malik Beasley, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard are all options at the SG position in that range... and there's always room for a homecoming with UofH alumni Quentin Grimes...

If Stone plays this right, the Rockets could be a contender for years.

Exactly what I said he'd do... restructure his contract for a team friendlier option.

Instead of $44 million for one year he gets $50 million for 2 years.

We building down in the H... barring any major injuries the Astros, Texans and Rockets all gonna be making noise in the playoffs this year. What a time to be alive and live in Houston!
smashing their offseason so far and have plenty of ammo for more

These dudes helped Boston get over the hump and win a title and now Brad is shipping them off to the wall to fight with wildlings and ice giants.

I'd be pissed too.
theres no loyalty to players unless those players are superstar players that made the owners a lot of money; and even then..but Boston is doing what has to be done because of the new CBA!!!

Move on?!?!?

Nigga if I was JP, I would’ve been throwing basketballs at that nigga Draymond head every practice. We would’ve been boxing every single day until one of us was traded. You ain’t about to just slump me like that and everything be good.

You remember JP started it, right? Dray just finished it. And JP did not want that rematch.

Really Draymond. Really. You sucka punched the man.

Y'all were arguing and before JP could realize the argument escalated into a fight, Dray had already thrown a sucka punch.

If two men square up and have a fair one, then yes, y'all might be able to put that shit to the side later. If someone you look up to as a mentor sucka punches during a verbal disagreement, I'm pretty sure you're never going to forgive that person.

If JP would have sucka punched Draymond like that, he would have been traded from GS that same day.

When someone shoves you and you punch them, that is NOT a sucker punch. Look the term up. You can't initiate a physical confrontation and claim to have been "sucker punched," that's some sucker shit.

KD is really the Canibus of the NBA.

I'll battle you on the net, I'll battle you in the flesh
I'll battle you over the phone, you can call me Collect

(Damn, youngins listening to this today would be like "Why did he say you can call him Collect? Why would you call him that?")

I had this argument with a few people back then. What you’re saying, is understood but it WAS a sucker punch cuz all he did was push his TEAMMATE out his face. Clearly not wanting to fight. He didn’t expect his TEAMMATE to do that bullshit that Dray did. If Poole had squared up, then it’s all good. They weren’t on the streets. On the streets, you push somebody, be prepared to get swung on.

Like I said in my post tho, you do that to me and it’s on sight every fucking time cuz now you a bitch in my eyes.

Seeing fucking CJ McCollum get exiled to the Wizards is payback because he behind this CBA shit too

And no CJ, the Wizards will not benefit from all this parity.

Aight so I mentioned this earlier, but this was all about freeing up cap space for 2026.

It's a smart move by Dawkins and his staff (who spent 15 years in OKC before coming to DC as the GM)....He is implementing the same model OKC did....Freeing up cap space, accumulating picks, and drafting 2-way players (one of the reasons why Poole got traded on top of having 2 years on his contract)

Hell they might be able to absorb some of Beal's contract to net some first round picks in 2026

They can also absorb some more bad contracts next year with the cap space and accumulate even more picks......It's going to take some time to fix what Ernie Grunfield and Sheppard did over the past 20 years, but eventually they will get there....

All 3 draft picks from last year's draft are 2 way players - Bud, Sarr, and Kyshawn....

Wizards did this for cap space which is smart!!

In the words of Draymond, “The Dynasty starts after CJ, not with him”

Wizards will be a problem very soon and CJ punk ass won’t be apart of that. That’s all I’m saying. I ain’t fucked with CJ(or Dame for that matter) since their Portland days. Fuck em’
