This Zohran victory is proof of what I have been saying in this thread. Talk to voters, run on what THEY want. Reach out to voters that were on the sidelines. Make a message of simple, relatable things that people can see will make their lives better.

You guys know I don't align with Dem Socialists, but he ran a great campaign. Focus...on...the...voters... Stop calling them stupid. (even if they are)

Politics is local. Hospitals closing and job losses seem pretty local to me.

Now I want the Dem Socialists to imagine if more moderate dems act like they normally do. Spend the next months trashing Zohran, and pledging to vote third party or writing in Obama to protest. Lol.

Very true.

I wonder what his plan will be to appeal to those that think he is a socialist.

I mean he is a socialist. They have spent so much time shitting on dems they need to hope there isn't some coalescing around Adams. If Adams can get the Black and Brown vote, the older Dem vote, and some Republicans that see that he is friendly to Trump, there may be a problem.

It's a long shot, but not impossible.

If you ever wondered if this country was a joke or not

It was time for fair minded folk to find/found a new party, a REAL LABOR PARTY, when they knee-capped Bernie the first time he ran. He would have wiped the floor with the other guy, according to polls at the time.

Dems are like the "good cop" that says "take it easy, Bill" while his partner beats the living shit out of a handcuffed victim.

You’re right

It's not the smartest thing to do to try and Impeach during conflict. They knew this.
That's a bullshit argument and always has been. It's why people have always been afraid of a president just creating infinite conflicts.

Also, the exact conflict we are in is part of the reason they wanted to vote to impeach. It may not always be the smart thing to do, but if the actual crime is mismanaging a potential war situation, there is no better time to address it.

And while the numbers might shift a little outside of something like this, I don't believe for one second that most of the people that voted against it this week would be ready to vote in favor of it a week or two down the line "once things calm down". There were always going to be cowards and sycophants in the mix.
