Heck, even if they wanted peace, you know that they would fire a few extra volleys of missiles on principle just because he's been trying to make it seem like he talked them into stopping. They would not stand for that.
Someone in Trump's busted regime might be able to help broker a deal, if they could get Trump to shut up about it for a solid 24 hours (spoiler alert: they cannot get Trump to shut up about it for 24 hours.)
