Idk you tell me
So much shit that's been talked about Durant from the rockets side
The shit that was talked was centered around not overpaying for an aging superstar and not gutting our young core if we did get him.

We kept Sengun, Amen, Shepard, Whitmore, Tari and Jabari. We're adding to that Durant and keeping Adams. I expect FVV to renegotiate a more cap friendly contract that will allow them to add another piece.

Right now, nothing to celebrate. Gotta wait and see how this plays out on the court.

As it stands now, our 9 man rotation is pretty fckn solid:

Van Vleet
Shepard
Amen
Whitmore
Eason
Jabari
Sengun
Adams
Durant

No real Rockets fan is celebrating just yet because we've seen this movie before... the aging superstar coming here giving us false hope they'll never achieve.

There are lots of Rockets fans celebrating lol.

But the fact is, een with KD, if the Warriors ran the same, blitz KD and force Sengun to shoot defense, the Rockets will still lose in the playoffs unless they actually implement a real offense.

And that's if KD is even healthy in the playoffs.

Also this move still doesn't make the Rockets better than OKC and if they don't win a ring in the next year or two it's a failed trade.

I mean you gotta hope for the best.

Also, thunder got to pay a lot of guys who would a want more money which some of them could be gone or get traded.

I like it overall. They got rid of Green and kept the rest of their young core. Rockets still have 2 of the Suns unprotected firsts too. Of course there's risk with injury prone KD but you gotta take a shot with him.
Glad to hear that you like it, I like it for you guys too!

Not in the next year. KD is only signed for one more year. And if you sign him to a 2 year max, you probably can't afford VanVleet.

I hope if this is true?

That man realizes that in long run? He might really regret it.

Being a filthy rich punchline aint as fun as many may think.
Yeah, we'll probably get the truth about how he really feels when it's all said and done with him retiring telling it all on a podcast.
