The US is just too big of a county to host an affordable tournament. In theory, FIFA should have put this in an area that has multiple stadiums, good public transportation options, and accommodations.

Asking LAFC fans to fly out to Atlanta and then to Philadelphia is just as mad as asking London based Chelsea fans to travel to those two areas.

Its crazy. In some form or fashion I watched Jota play every weekend during the season since at least 2018 or so when wolves got promoted.

It’s the same old song. We suck at hosting these tournaments. Club world cups, gold cups, Copa Americas, preseason friendlies, etc etc all face the same old problems that organizers do nothing about.

International players get sick from eating this processed US mutant food, while being forced to play on cement covered grass that shreds ACL’s and tears players legs apart.

They host these teams in NFL stadiums that they can never fill and charge the folks who do go an arm and leg, while subjecting them to ridiculous summer heat.

It’s all hype with zero culture behind it. Next summer will be no different. Willing to bet it comes nowhere close to Qatar and if “slave workers died building stadiums” is anyone’s rebuttal, lest we forget the terrorism or randomness of being fired upon in broad daylight in large crowded areas within these United States.

I don’t think it did fam.. the videos were everywhere yesterday. And yea it was a green Lambo that got torched. I was listening to talksport yesterday morning and a Spanish firefighter near the incident had broken it all down.

They couldn’t get to him and his brother in time.
