He's actually pretty good. I was shocked when he was with Windy.

Normally he seems high and sits and barely talks when I used to see him on podcast and on TV before. He basically seemed like his Chi character.
I definitely agree and I've been hearing good things about him speaking about the game.

How is the Suns worth that. Is it due to West Coast?

The problem could stem from the media, insiders and sport agents. The players (especially If you're considered a AAA talent) In this day and age they put It out there where they want to go and where they don't. As a GM/owner why would you invest In someone that doesn't want to be part of your organization. They would basically be gambling on the effort they put out. We've already seen what players do to force there way off teams. ( Harden, Butler. Ayton, Kawhi ) Dame was one of the few that were compliant about ending up where he really didn't want to be.
Same reason why Toronto traded for K Lenard! And it paid off for them. Plus this new cba has changed the landscape of things. LAC let PG walk instead of sign and trade because of new cba; old cba that would have never happened. A team could gamble on winning with KD. And if it doesn’t work let him walk and clear salary…

I don't know this guy's pockets but I'm pretty sure if Elon owned a team he could blow past any aprons for a decade straight easily. I'm sure others could as well.

Not saying you're wrong about what will happen in practice but I think you're wrong about what is possible.
It’s not about how deep is the owners pockets anymore! The new cba penalizes the team in every way now not just money! So again new cba says otherwise…

Exactly... He wasn't exceeding the 2nd Apron for 35 yr old Paul George...

If the right player comes along to pair with Luka... The Lakers might pull the trigger and take the penalties...

The issue for the Lakers, if LeBron don't retire, is to resign LeBron at age 40 after the last year of his contract...
What you guys are missing is the new cba doesn’t just penalize a team with money. They take away a team ability to sign free agents! They freeze draft picks in order for a team can’t trade them! They don’t allow a team to trade multiple players at once! They don’t allow a team to aggregate contracts!! Etc etc. There is a reason why none of these teams want to go to the 2nd apron right now….

That Walter dude doesn’t want to run any of his teams!! So that doesn’t matter to him! He seems to be a smart dude and let others that know what they are doing run the team…
I swear if other owners would do the same their teams would be better for it.
