}~~~> Official 2024/2025 NBA Thread<~~~{ OKC Thunder NBA champs}

I had all them except them KJ, LJ and Magic’s…I never seen them shits in my life. Air Max Penny 1s I was in first grade when I first got them and got them again two more releases the one shoe I’m always gonna want no matter how old.
I didn’t want the Jason Kidd, the Rodman, the grant hill, and didn’t really care for the iverson when they originally came out.. also we had unwritten rules in the crew to not rock the same sneaker as your boy( 1 of my boy had literally copped all those sneakers I just said).. it’s funny be young Harlem cocky nigs and having a sense of individualism that you don’t want to come outside looking like none of your boys even if you rock the same brands( Nike, Hilfiger, nautica, polo, avirex, vanson, etc) was like that even with baseball caps and that’s why I started rocking minor league caps in 94 cause I didn’t want nobody else with the same cap as me.. we was so crazy with it we would string up our shoelaces differently from other people and each other

I remember when Barkley was losing in Philly; played with Hershey Hawkins and Johnny Dawkins; @jawnswoop and @jack walsh13 remember them? lol. Barkley felt he couldnt win in Philly so he wanted out; Traded to Phoenix and boom they go to the finals! But thats ok though because the gm did it...
It was terrible ownership back then. Cheap ass Harold Katz. He was a piece of shit. Treated Andrew Toney like a fuckin dog cause of his foot injury ( which ultimately lead him to retire cause the Sixers mismanaged it) and traded Moses. So overall I don't see the situations the same. The Golden State thing will always be a stain on KD's career. You go to the team you lost too the previous year (Which in large part was his own fault) instead of working harder to come back and beat them? That will forever be some sucka shit to everybody.

They do and for them it helps because they can use it as trade bait. Thunder have mastered the art of that shit so props where it goes.

I just don't see these teams hurting right now trading all their draft picks. The structure of the NBA is that you can't trade multiple years. So factor that in and factor in your 1st round pick is probably just gonna be a role player anyway? I see why teams do it. I mean look at the Jazz...they ass just for the Spurs, Sixers and Mavs to get the top 3 picks in the draft. I'm trading my pick fuck the lottery. If this year wasn't proof to do it then I don't' know what is. Literally 3 teams that will be playoff teams if they were healthy last year got the top 3 picks lol. Wizards and Jazz sitting around looking stupid.
You make a good point but don't go crazy trading ALL your picks. Phoenix and Knicks maybe fucked long term due to the cap and no picks. You don't wanna be in that situation. I'm not trading 5 1st round picks for Bridges. That was crazy.

  • No. 16 pick in 2025 NBA Draft
  • 2026 first-round pick (via Phoenix)
  • 2028 first-round pick
  • 2029 first-round pick swap
  • 2030 first-round pick

This why I don’t think teams care…they shed picks every other year to still build.

Now that 2026 pick might be the one they regret. Thought that shit was lottery protected…. Guess it depends what that teller look like because right now they look a mess.

Bridges once again though if Knicks contending are they gonna care about them late first rounders? It only becomes a problem if they suck lol.

That's the exact reason why the heat didn't get dame and I'm sure they aren't gonna take that deal from the heat. Lol

Now thats a deal that would definitely work for a player like Westbrick.
Supposedly that's one of the number one priorities with a KD deal.
They're limited with what moves they can make until the get out of the 2nd apron

I know and that shit pisses me off because I know Denver would’ve won more championships with those 2 on the team. It was a perfect fit.

You can thank this man....LOL

I know Denver is your team, but as someone who has followed this team since the Jokic/Nurkic days he was the downfall (IMO)....

When Tim Connelly left, seems like the team fell off....Booth really never drafted well -

Agree also.

Ja sells tickets, but I do want him to add more to his game.
he should study SGA

and he should grab the rim when he dunks.........i know that sounds weird to say but here me out

it simple and I'm not sure no one has told him this, but if you grab the rim you can control your fall. he gets hurt going in all wild and lading wrong or landing on people and falling or landing on his ankle. just grab the damn rim and control how you fall. if you watch he tape he does not do that.

SGA works on his game when Ja doesn't. Yeah, it be nice to see Ja model his game after SGA.

But Ja likes to do highlight reel stuff with these dunks that gets fans excited.

I would like to see Ja shoot more and stop dunking and laying up the ball so much because he gets injured doing that especially when he can jump higher than most players in the league.

Ja needs to add more tools to his Arsenal and he would be lethal. he's not a finish product because he still isn't a good shooter.

exactly that's why i said study SGA.. he needs that mid range game... he can to it just need to be more consistent with it..

he can still do highlight stuff.. just be more careful. it sells shoes
