This may be unpopular, but removing the tipping option from these apps and charging a 20% service fee that goes directly to the driver would be a better solution.
Would’ve field goal kicked that nig in the head when he fell… his tip for the day would’ve been being brain dead is not good for ones health

Some of these drivers make more due to the tipping option.. lot of these companies kinda don’t really care about the drivers, they need them in order to operate but they don’t really appreciate them and kinda don’t really care about making them any real money.. if they could get a bunch of illegals to do this job for $10 or less they would do it in a heartbeat
It is a real job. Waiters and waitresses bring food to your table at a restaurant, these people deliver food and other good directly to your door.
I believe that they're more deserving of a tip for bringing items to your house versus a waiter or waitress who just brings food to your table.
I don't use DoorDash etc services but I'd tip if I did.

Bro they allow the most dirty broke stank ass unprofessional people to door dash. I've seen all types. If the same people that DoorDash actually worked at a restaurant as a waiter or waitress, most of them would've been fired.The same way professionalism is optional, so should tips be.

All I'm saying is that they're doing a job so we have to give them that respect, if they respect it and do a good job.
And you're right, tips should be optional. But the people deserve a tip.
This was never about the tip. The driver arrived the NEXT DAY with gun. It was attempted robbery. That lowlife may have been a former mafia employee. Who knows?

I don’t use food delivery but if I did I would definitely tip. Them and the ride share drivers deserve a tip. I always tip the ride share drivers.

What's funny is you really don't even have to tip, I do just so no one fucks with my order and courtesy. These companies been on some slick shit by adding tips to every damn thing. They even have tips when you pick up the food yourself, that's where I draw the line. Smh!

In DC that's all you see rolling around town on those lil scooters then at other immigrants, seems like they work for some company (probably a YT owns it). But they are all over the city. I know they need to work, but I really hate the vast majority of them because they don't follow the traffic laws at all.
