What's funny is you really don't even have to tip, I do just so no one fucks with my order and courtesy. These companies been on some slick shit by adding tips to every damn thing. They even have tips when you pick up the food yourself, that's where I draw the line. Smh!

Ordered some pizzas pre-pandemic in 2018 or 2019 and was picking them up mid-evening. The card reader had the tips set at 18 - 25%.

Stood there for a few seconds trying to figure out the 0% option. Asked the cashier "Where's the no option?"

This may be unpopular, but removing the tipping option from these apps and charging a 20% service fee that goes directly to the driver would be a better solution.

Nah. We already pay service fees on top of convenience fees on top of app fees on top of delivery fees. Plus, why should I pay 20% when I have somebody deliver a $500 television?

Or what if I want to pay somebody $20 for bringing my $20 donuts to the job?
