UPDATE: Donald Trump Takes Office as the 47th US President

Still waiting for some Dem to come and offer an alternative vision to what we are seeing and a different path.

All I'm seeing is Dems doing what they have been doing - going on the Sunday talk shows to say Trump is an authoritarian and talking about norms and obscure laws.

A real leader puts forth direction and doesn't just say the sky is falling. There has to be SOMEONE out there ready to step up, right?

Why tell someone the sky is falling when they believe the world is flat?

Trump officials are vowing to end school desegregation orders. Some parents say they're still needed

In a remarkable reversal, the Justice Department said it plans to start unwinding court-ordered desegregation plans dating to the Civil Rights Movement. Officials started in April, when they lifted a 1960s order in Louisiana’s Plaquemines Parish. Harmeet Dhillon, who leads the department’s civil rights division, has said others will “bite the dust.”

In 1960, Ruby Bridges escorted by U.S. Marshals, walked past hateful protesters to become the first Black child at a Louisiana school – and was then taught alone for a year.

White House struggles to find qualified people willing to work for Pete Hegseth

Top Defense Department jobs, including the defense secretary’s chief of staff, are normally considered prestigious and typically attract multiple qualified candidates. But at least three people have already turned down potential roles under Hegseth, according to a former U.S. official, the defense official and a person familiar with the matter.

The trans issue is a loser and should be avoided completely. All the Left does is denounce Dems 24/7 so fuck em. Let them hold their own nuts. And Dems can argue for treating illegal immigrants humanely while also not advocating giving them free healthcare, etc and also continuing to deport them a la Obama and Biden. This man is correct.
