Real talk, if Dr. Umar, Terrence Howard, and that guy on the video, were to make a super IQ rocket that they say could get you to Mars in a few days, would you volunteer to go?
No, it reflects a certain type of intelligence, mostly involving the detection of pattern recognition and prediction of sequences. I score high on those tests but I know folks who score way lower than me who are intelligent in things I struggle with, for example, I suck at learning different languages, can't spell for shit, and people who could read write, and play music are like gods compared to me.
So the way I look at it, IQ tests do quantify intelligence but only certain types of intelligence, and to me, it's more of a niche thing rather than a test that can determine who is the smartest.

Man, IQ tests are subjective AF. They dont accurately assess how an individual processes information or uses it to solve problems. They don't properly address a person's creativity or innovation. Most of all they dont predict real life success, whatever that might be.

That's on you. They're not supposed to predict success. They objectively measure a person's ability to reason and solve problems. And that includes any type of problem. Don't be mad at it cause you don't get it.

the same person can take IQ tests over the span of years and have wildly varying scores.
no government or private entity requires IQ tests as a basis of job readiness.
theres no data that people with high IQs fare better in any area of life than "regular" folks.
people with high IQs can have learning, cognitive, social or psychological disabilities.
these statements are not my opinion, they are available facts. according to the scientific method you should avail yourself of them.
