So I went to a for profit school in the late 90s and I went to a online accelerated school WGU and finished, I usually failed these assessment or IQ test sort of say.

I want to be really honest with myself, I am strongly considering just driving a bus at this point, the way these companies act and knowing my background I'm not going to pass these IQ test bullshit.

I don't have this type of background to be very honest.

What you looking for a pep talk nigga?
I honestly wanted to know if education comes from a young age, because most these online schools it's no "networking in real life" so it's a bunch of degrees but you don't see people so I was thinking with my background some of these "reality" is too much.

Every time you write these depressed posts I steer you to jobs that are hiring right now in the insurance industry.

Unless you can't pass a typing test I can't believe you aren't able to get hired there.

Last time I posted a laundry list of places that were hiring.

Costco might be hiring

cashier, greeter, receipt checker, person that stand near the checkout and put your groceries on the counter, the person that walks around trying to upgrade your membership from standard to executive… these are the jobs you probably can do

Don't acquire degrees acquire skills. Network and acquire skills, job hop network and acquire more skills. Do that in your 20-30s by the time your 40 you will have enough experience and skills to demand top dollar for what you do.

I applied for all them state farm jobs, I had to lie on my resume cuz I took a few years off so I got a hook up from a friend to give me a fake job to use.

Still at all, I applied for pretty much amazon drivers and usps.

But that wonderlic or IQ test takes time.

Who’s giving you wonderlic tests?

YES
Also, trying to network at a for profit school is like trying to trying to join a swim team of people who can’t swim

Who’s giving you wonderlic tests?
I came in here thinking this nigga was trying to play in the NFL

I just took a sample Wonderlic test and scored a 98 on it but it did take me 13 mins and 8 seconds and you only get 12 minutes on the real exam according the webpage. Pretty straightforward stuff though. I didn't know there was a time limit when I started so maybe I could have shaved a minute or two.

Well are they THAT bad?

I saw in another thread that you were trying to be a software engineer. If an IQ test is that much of an issue, then any tech based job is probably aiming too high, tbh. All the nerds I know who didn’t go the medicine route are in tech, and it’s nonstop brainwork. That’s why ninjas are always on coke, adderall, modafinil or worse

Don't come back in here til you have applied on every one of these websites. I'm not sure if you're looking for a shoulder to cry on or solutions. There is nothing wrong with working a lower level job if they offer tuition help.

Stop crying about your age. You alive, that's good enough. I just graduated undergrad in May at age 46. I worked lower level and entry level jobs all this time but my job paid for my degree and I have no college debt. Now I'm on to the next degree.

Use the job to tide you over until you get certifications, designations and a degree from a respected university. Build your skills and resume and you'll get the better interviews and offers.

No more WOE IS ME.POSTS!

COME BACK IN HERE WITH POSITIVITY AND IT'LL BE RECIPROCATED IN YOUR REAL LIFE!

You keep looking for validation for your excuses on why you aren't finding success. Solutions have been presented. It's on you to do the legwork and not give up at the first, 2nd or 3rd barrier.

I'm applying for the 3rd time for a work promotion. If I don't get it I can either say fuck them or I can apply until I get it.

Choices.
