Ex-Porn Stars In Their New Lives After Porn

How many of y’all remember Chiquita Lopez from the early to mid-2000s? I remember they used to bring her in from Mexico—she’d moan and scream in Spanish when getting fucked hard. I used to love watching the behind-the-scenes footage on DVDs back in the day. I even remember one where they literally asked her if she ever did a dog. She was a sexy ESL. Any one have info on her? Her name is Claudia Gallardo

Apparently this is actually her

Do y'all think it was unfair that that chick Pink - I think her real name is Bethany Grant - was kicked out of a singing group because of her past porn career? I think she was supposed to be in a group with that fine ass chick that got kicked out of Destiny's Child but when they found out that she used to do flicks they fired her. I only ask because I've seen the sentiment expressed on here quite often that these chicks are treated unfairly because of their pasts. Ex-porn hoes have lost teaching gigs, office jobs, etc because they used to suck dick on film but I can see how someone could make the argument that her particular case was different because singing is just entertainment like porn is entertainment.

In an ideal world where everything and everyone is right, it would be fair. But this isn't an ideal world. Firstly, lots of people have a low opinion of sex work for a reason. It's literally the easiest and oldest job in the world - no discipline or (transferable) skillset just looks, and even looks isn't necessary. Sex work may be enjoyable but it is not respectable in any regard. Let's keep it real.

Secondly, if I were the head of the record label I'd also kick her out because at the end of the day a company runs on money, and the image of a sex worker in your music band would definitely affect publicity and profit (this was a time when Janet Jackson got cancelled for a nip slip).

Every action has an effect/repercussion and this was the effect of her past action. I'm not responsible for that, you're not, so she alone is responsible for the effect. She could have been honest about her past or owned it like some other hoes do, but decided to sweep it under the carpet like it never existed. If they rejected her then at least it would be from the get-go and not the eleventh hour after giving her hope.

Even if that was her dream job it's not a death sentence she got rejected, by that definition most people are living death sentences. When I applied for a Major at my university back then I couldn't get my major of choice because I didn't write the exam for a required subject in high school. Yes, I was a teenager, with all the foolishness that comes with it, but nobody forced me to skip that subject, in fact I was advised NOT to skip it. I take full accountability for that and play with my new deck of cards because who else would be responsible for it?

At last, people will judge and shame, that's life. Nobody can have good pattern recognition, proper judgments or good decisions about safety of self and others/risk mitigation/profit without judging. It's part of why we humans are at the top of the food chain. People judging or shaming is outside one's control but your actions (and consequences) are within your control.

Let's not do things that we'll feel the need to hide in future, but if we must do it then at least own it and prepare for the effects later on, instead of letting the past own you by acting like it doesn't exist or scurrying to some obscure part of the country and avoiding the internet like a fugitive.

Does anyone remember 'jentlemanbear' on Chaturbate? He was on the site regularly fucking a number of amateur white girls. He hasn't been on for three years according to his profile. I believe he moved over to OnlyFans. I was really hot for the girl on the left. This was back in 2014. Wondering what she's up to right now.

They used to be clowning this guy a lot in all the webcam chats(Stickam,LiveVideo etc) for some reason...

Do any of you Houston players know what Lexi Amore is up to these days? IAFD says that she hasn't dropped new material since 2017 but I don't think she's been out the game that long.

Let's flash back to 15 years ago. These girl groups were targeted primarily at teenage and pre-teen girls. Of course they're not gonna let a porn star be in the group.

And the thing about it is, if I recall correctly... she said she DID inform the group and its management that she has previously featured in adult content. But I think she just made it sound like she had maybe done ONE movie, or that she had a private video that leaked. But when it was discovered that, no.... she was actually a full-on professional porn star with a long filmography, most of it anal???

Nah... that was not gonna work. I'm not gonna say that it was fair or unfair that she got kicked out of the group but there was no way she could have stayed in the group.

Actually, she didn't even get "kicked out" per se... the entire grou[ disbanded and their project was shelved because of the scandal. So everybody lost out.

This is surprising, despite women far outnumbering men in porn, and the porn industry being much harsher on women than men, men in the business seem to kill themselves more than women.

Why would that be surprising? Men in general kill themselves more than women.

In regards to the porn industry, they don't make nearly as much money, drugs are involved, and I know in the early days a lot of them had to resort to gay porn to make enough money.

Because this is an industry where men are outnumbered by at least 10-1, and that's a conservative estimate, if I were putting money on it, I'd say for every man in the industry, there are 30 women.

Men are the prize though, the women are disposable. Producers need at least one good male that can perform and he’s used in every scene.

A new crop of 18 yr olds are fed into that industry like a wood chipper, while the guys stay in for decades to the point where some need to hang it up. Lex Steele said he had to take a break because he couldn’t keep up stamina wise with his age, especially after an injury.

No chick can do that in porn with his length of time in the game

We're talking about suicides in the porn industry.

What is your name in the world of porn???

You excellently articulated every point I was about to make.

Men are not the prize. Men are the tools. Yes, it is harder to find a steady, reliable male performer than it is to find a sexy girl, which is why men stay in the industry for decades while the girls cycle in and out. (Also ageism) These days it seems like 3 years is the average length of the female porn career.

But men are not the prize. Virtually nobody buys (or clicks on) a porn movie BECAUSE of the male performer featured--even female viewers. The man is an instrument that moves the scene forward, but the woman is the product that actually sells the scene.

In fact, contemporary trends suggest than increasing numbers of viewers don't even want to see the man in the video at all! That's why POV has become the most popular format. And a lot of young cats are foregoing B/G altogether to watch only lesbian and solo porn because I guess they feel gay if they see a man in the scene. So no... men don't sell the product, so they can't by definition be "the prize."

Right about this post, wrong about the suicides. As was stated, the fact that men are vastly outnumbered in the porn industry makes it surprising that men in this industry seem to commit more suicides, not by percentage but sheer numbers.

I honestly can't take seriously or have respect for any woman, because I know all those impressive achievements like degrees, businesses or rank like in the 2nd picture is just covering the reality of the 1st picture.

To understand what I'm saying, put yourself in the shoes of a guy who sees and knows only Denise Moore but doesn't see Alayah Sashu. This is basically every "good girl" out there. Every woman is naturally a freak and love the idea of being sexually wild and degraded without judgment but some are really adept at concealing it.

The 1st pic is just the natural state of woman.

This is the dumbest shit I have read today. Early yet.

You are on a porn forum. You are clearly enjoying the exploitation of these same women for whom you have no respect.

This bone-headed bullshit, minute-rice reasoning is why I have a passport. Gotta take a break from the abject stupidity every once in a while.

Catch a clue: women are human, arguably, MORE human than you or I, because MOST human beings on the planet are FEMALE.

Just like you satisfy your lust by means which would be deemed less than respectable if known (like jacking off to the same women you don't respect for satisfying your lust), they do the same thing. Sexism makes you think that somehow they are lesser than you.

Put yourself in the place of a woman who meets you in a nightclub. All it means is that a serial off-jacker is adept at appearing "respectable".

Forgive my directness--or don't. Haven't hit my blunt yet.

Cheers.

I knew about suicides of men in general being higher, but that rate persisting in an industry with a very disproportionate male-to-female ratio is interesting.

I'm curious though, you think straight actors engaging in gay porn could contribute to suicidal ideation?
Also, pretty much all the actresses I could think of who took their own lives are white like August Ames, Shyla Styles and Kagney Karter. I also wonder if there's a cultural elemental to being more susceptible or less entertaining of this ideation.
