Three establishments in downtown Nashville have reportedly had fewer workers on staff because of concerns about arrests.

…Managers allegedly told restaurant employees lacking U.S. citizenship to leave on May 10 after ICE activity surged in the area, according to the Nashville Scene.

They included workers at Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse, The Diner and Honky Tonk Central. A co-owner of the Kid Rock restaurant, conservative restaurateur Steve Smith owns the latter two establishments on the popular Broadway thoroughfare in downtown Nashville, Tennessee...

The other thing he didn't mention- let's say you do get that delinquent payment ...

That gets reported if you're 90 days past ...so you have 3 months to get up to.speed ....

BUT

if you are reported as "late" on your credit report immediately you lose almost a 100 points or more

That means if you had let's say a 740 it can be dropped down to a 650 or even 620 ....if you know anything a out credit score 700 and above means you are OK but below 700 you are considered high risk ..

That ONE late payment stays on your report for 7 years ....SEVEN YEARS

a late payment can also affect your ability to get additional credit or make your cat loan higher and your INSURANCE HIGHER ...it also.affects your ability to buy a home ( if you're even in the position to buy one ) and can affect your mortgage rate making it higher and therefore making your mortgage more expensive
