Naw fam, Trout was the truth before his injuries; I think hes probably a shell of himself now; which is still better than a lot others...

We all know about the injuries. Real talk, is that so RARE? Couldn't find a couple of OTHER players who could claim the same thing? "If I didnt have those injures..."

I just I never believed it. And he aint show it when it mattered.

That might be my most unpopular sports take ever I get it.

I just always find it interesting how we DO that especially with white athletes. But I don't eve hear all this grace for black athletes.

Lebron gets killed coming in the league as a damn teenager meeting and EXCEEDED every and all expectations and STILL don't get his due.

But dudes will cry and give up their first born defending a never was that was really good but never lived up to all the hype.

one more thing? Is Trout a hall of famer?

Nah fam he was amazing!! Trout had 285 career homers when he won his third AL MVP award in 2019; 3 MVPs fam thats crazy!!! He was on a crazy trajectory before the injuries; some players get hurt but they wasnt performing like super star players; Trout was that dude...

Okay...I will concede.

Funny thing is I used to defend that dude like crazy but the more I thought about it I just thought the hype pressure and injuries broke him.

and A LOT of players had to suffer like that and didn't get the love despite the hurdles.

Griffey Jr would have had a lot more records if it wasnt for his injuries!! Trout that dude; his problem is he wanted to stay with the angels :smh: :smh: he should have been left that poorly ran organization...
