Not true.
Google searches will get you anecdotes and reviews written by and for WHITE PEOPLE (assuming the reviews are real), who will WITHOUT QUESTION be treated differently (read BETTER) than a black person, even one from the United States. The friendly natives are friendly primarily to WHITE foreigners. Their accounts are extremely skewed. Expecting to be treated the way most people recount on Lonely Planet will prepare you for a very unpleasant surprise.

Knowing where NOT to go in a foreign country, when you don't know the language, is VERY different from being a Detroiter lost in Philly.

The last commercial plane crash in the U.S. before the election was about 15 years ago. I stopped counting at 6 since the election. It does not take a graduate degree in statistics to see that this is NOT normal and these are NOT normal times.

When it's instances like that I always wonder if it's the friend group hoe or something. Where they're always leaving for a man and it's normal behavior so they think nothing of it.
 
Every time I see one of these stories I think about how lucky I am that my wife and I went over there and came back safely; because we did some stupid shit (I’ll probably come back and type out that whole story once I’m at the computer.) We had a great time, but I ’d never do the same shit again.

Here's a video I took about 2 years ago. This is about 600m from where she disappeared at. Notice how the waves are breaking from left and to the right. And this is somewhat calm for that area. You're not surviving this shit with constant riptides and your fucking drunk at 4:00 a.m. in the morning. Hell I have another video that shows the undertow but niggas are not about to clown my feet.

I remember when I used to go on cruises. I used to go on four a cruises a year. And the whites who worked for the cruise lines would always tell us don't go inside the countries because it's so dangerous. Only take our excursions because it's safer and blah blah blah. Then I realized they only do that shit for Brown countries. Man they got yall heads fucked up. But keep living in fear
