(my long-winded retort to a Trump supporter)
They built this country so it was in every other country's business. American companies outsourced American jobs to China, Mexico, India and anywhere they could to "save money" and pay those people pennies rather than pay American people dollars. Even the MAGA hat you wear is Made in China (take it off and look).
As far as the tarrifs, What Canada and other countries are doing is retaliatory, they're only increasing their tariffs because Trump put tariffs on them. It's the same as a counterattack, except the other countries aren't bowing to Trump as he expected.
I don't know how Trump is "taking care of our country first" as you say by firing 100,000 Americans from their jobs, and if you celebrated federal employees losing their jobs in any way you are exactly a part of the problem, because it is never right to celebrate someone losing their job, especially when the job market is horrible. These people lost pensions and are forced into a Job Musical Chairs where the only chairs available are making 1/3 of their salaries or less.
