When you say the Dems aren't trying are fighting. I assume you mean the democratic representatives. But the democratic representatives are a reflection of the democratic voters. So are WE not fighting.
The problem is every time a democratic representative fights a la Bernie AOC etc. they get vilified by the right then abandoned by the establishment. We want them to fight but then we want them to be centrist enough to win. They do fight it's just the ones that do (Green) don't get our support or our representatives support.
We get the representatives that we deserve. If we want our representatives to fight we better start fighting and support the ones that do even if we don't agree with them 100%. That's if we want to fight. I don't think most democrats want to fight. I think they want to win because they truly believe their policies will help more people but we don't have a unifying undertow like the republicans have. The protection of whiteness is the republicans themesong and they play it well.
They know as a party of many races and cultures we don't have a collective angst. What is sad but unfortunatley probably going to be the case black people are going to have to save America again. We led the struggle for civil rights which lead to women rights, gender rights, gay rights LGBT etc. NONE of that shit happen without civil rights. None of that shit happen without our marches our dead bodies our black panthers our MLK, our Marcus Garvey's our 100 years of great men getting killed to progress this country out of it's savage barbaric state.
We got to take the lead again because we are the only ones that ever had the courage to call white people out on their bullshit in America. We did it the first time and now they are trying to take back everything we fought and died for.
People can both sides politics as much as they want but has this administration actually done anything that is good for the American people? Just one thing
