We're in for a rough ride ahead, brothers and sisters. We are going to need each other more than ever, and I think we should start strategizing NOW if we're gonna come out the other side of this shit okay. I'm not even sure how the structure of this thread will materialize, and if by some miracle I get to delete it I will be elated, but if not...it's time to build.

Fucking schools could be gone, international conflict finna be stupid, ukraine and Palestine are fucking toast, the dollar may destabilize, some of you niggas may get sent to countries you ain't never even been to, world markets bout to be fucked up.

First of all, I don't think all of that doom and gloom will happen. As far as our strategy, I believe we need to hammer Reparations as our keystone issue. We need to demand vocal support and actionable promises for our support. Hopefully the Democratic party respects us enough to support this keystone issue to pander for our vote.

We form groups of like minded individuals who share the same goals.

For instance, someone in another thread here on BGOL suggested that those who like movies and screenwriting could form a group here. We write scripts, get them published/sold...

Bruh, I make a great salary and live in New York. I'm going to be gucci. I work remotely, and can work from the Caribbean if shit gets bad. I wanted better for my people. Unlike you that just wants a check for yourself.

The country will be fine. We've had poor presidents before and we'll have them again. I just hope that individually we do whatever is necessary to brace for economic ebbs and flows. Stay ready and you won't have to get ready. It seems the country isn't quite as liberal as the big cities suggest.

Similar situation and similar sentiment bruh. I'm going to be good but I fear some of my people's are going to undergo a little unnecessary hardships.

Just saying. Lot of folks don't want solutions they just want to lay in the mud like pigs and talk shit from the sidelines.

What I will be doing is working to improve myself and my status daily. No policy is gonna keep me from my goals. I'll also continue to contribute to the HBCU and State colleges that I do, as well as be more active in my community.

I do believe Obama was right about being the change you want to see.

Solid thread @sammyjax. These are the conversations we need to have more of on a consistent basis...Like @PsiBorg mentioned, in your local areas try to surrond yourself with like minded brothers to focus on areas of improvement you can work on as a collective - mentoring, investment group, helping the elder, and etc....

I believe the pillars we should be focusing on are:
Health
Economic Empowerment
Education

Keep sharing that knowledge amongst the group. Making sure we support only us as well....

Just sharing this— though it is about the Democratic Party, not black people, it raises an important consideration, that narrative is a key aspect of strategy.
