OK Cool, I'll get it started again after I revamp the board.
Man I remember back in the day coming home from school and getting on dial up to view BGOL. Shit BGOL is why I ran out and bought a 54k modem. I thought I was the shit with that new modem! Used to check everyday to see when membership would open back up. Shit was really like a drug back then. It was social media before social media. I've met life long friends on here.

There’s one reason why this site lost popularity. I can tell you exactly why. MODS had way too much power and catered to the soft members of the board. Entertaining vets were getting perma banned left and right. It was as if a bunch of lgbtq and Jewish mods took over and were cancelling everyone for saying anything whatsoever they didn’t agree with.
This place transformed gradually, but steadily where people were scared to agree with someone because they feared being blacklisted. This caused less diversity in topics, thinking, opinions, etc and what you were left with was a bunch of fools who all thought the same, liked exactly the same things, hated the same things, etc.
You had paid members getting banned without breaking a rule because mods didn’t like them, or if a member who’s pulling strings behind the scene commands a mod to do so.
Just look at the members you have left…. Have they ever had a controversial stand on anything? How can you have intelligent debate/discussion when most of these beta males are scared to lose popularity for thinking different? So, the members from the past who used to come here for the genius diversity this place once had no longer find this place stimulating.
Back in the days, you would come in here first thing when you woke up. There was a topic o. Whatever you needed for the day…. Stocks, Beef, trolls, nostalgia, ock’s, racism, that guy who used to fuck his first cousin, music, porn, etc. I remember this place was so poppin that someone made a thread asking for help identifying a song. He says… the song is a house song and it goes like this…. Tick tick boom bap boom boom. Everyone was like FOH, then out of the blue, some rainman cat posted the song he was looking for.
There will never be more that, or any of the glory from the past… it’s because some of the stupid ass mods ran this like a dictatorship…. Ban everyone who they don’t like or agree with. A great soup might have 30 ingredients… if you remove 28 of them, you basically have broth.
Anyway, thats my 2cents.

That’s not the reason at all. It was members who are soft like you that are incapable of hearing factual criticism. It was the section that had all the downloads (music, movies, XXX, etc)
First it was part of the main board, then the site owner made a separate site called “ItsBX” so he could separate the downloaded content from the website, just in case the heat came down on him
XXX content basically had its own section, just like movies, music and programs

that's going to chase the majority of the younger IPHONE generation away,
they need a simple iPhone friendly layout...
they need pictures to swipe and click on..... but its all good tho,
