I only want to see this for two reasons:
1, Rogue One was the only Star Wars film, and I mean only, film in the franchise I enjoyed enough to rewatch.
2, I'm a fan Forest Whittaker.

My only issue with the trailer is the music.
It doesn’t fit for the tone of the series. It sounds like it would have worked for “Skeleton Crew”. The trailer makes the series “Happy and Pleasant”.
We all know how it’s going to end. If I directed it, no music would have played. The last scene would have Director Krennic looking at the Death Star and then have the “Imperial March” theme play.
Also, I hope this season gives some insight on the 2nd Death Star. One of the biggest plot holes in the original trilogy was the timeline on its creation.
The first Death Star debuted at the end of Episode 3. About 20 years past until Episode 4. And I believe about 5 years had past for Episode 6.
It’s clear the 2nd Death Star must have started construction some time after Episode 3.
We will wait and see…

I can make an argument it was BECAUSE of the toxicity in the fandom

What if they put Kevin Feige in charge..he might MCU-up things (new movies/tv shows introducing a bunch of brand new characters in a Legacy-type setting then bring them all together for a team up film,kind of like what Filoni plans to do with that Mandalorian/Grogu movie)
