STAR WARS ANDOR (2022) Disney+ (season 2 Discussion Thread) Jesus Christ this shit is Fantastic!!

compared to Andor?
yes
love Mando s1 n 2 but so far the only high quality TV projects out of Lucas were Tales of the Jedi and Andor

even if you give Skelton Crew a kids pass it would still be mid

Skeleton Crew was very good

Families loved it and it really built a new generation of fans.

So we disagree

I haven't watched any new Star Wars TV shows since the Mando season 3 and the first season of Andor. Mando Season 3 was a mess and it took me multiple times to finish Andor too because I just didn't care for the show or characters.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan but Disney killed the franchise for me with the multiple shows and focus on dumb ass characters.

I've tried to watch andor no less than 5 times never make it to the end of ep 1.

May try again in a week, still have to finish skeleton crew

'Skeleton Crew' Has Worst Star Wars Ratings On Disney+

 what new fans?
less people watched the finale than the premier!

People watched. I can't explain it. These streaming ratings still baffle me. But I know a whole lot kids watched that series and the fact 7 thru 10 had an entry point past the cartoons was a big win.

And it was good to be able to watch something together.

We will see if it resonates at all.

Sidebar... tales from the Jedi was great I don't think that folks watched that either based on ratings.

I have to check this thread for Andor ratings

3 episodes debuted last week.

There will be a total of 12 episodes this season.

The series finale is scheduled to debut on May 13, 2025.

I love this series and my TV ADHD can’t handle waiting a whole week for a 45 minute episode. I know there will be around 3/4 episodes of just talking.

Gonna let all the episodes debut and binged them back to back.

I’m also debating about rewatching Andor season again, then binge season 2, then rewatch Rogue One and end it with Episode 4 to get the complete story.

Plot building. The arranged marriage had to be shown so they can demonstrate how people in the core didn’t care about the struggling in the outer rim and the rebellion as long as their money wasn’t affected.

I'm feeling the new season so far. Andor has a unique look and feel that really tells the story super fast. If you break down what happened the first three episodes it was a lot. Also the importance to the star wars story cannot be stepped over. Andor stole an experimental t Tie fighter escaped a dysfunctional rebel group and singlehandedly destroyed an entire empire squad. The shit is dope. By far my favorite star wars series. Probably the only one I watched beside the mandolorian.

Very solid points! I think I just wanted a little bit more ump in the episodes; but it was a lot that happen; the one thing I will say is that it should have been shown or told why the fighter was stolen...

All this but the boldest part is key because it ties in what Star Wars Rebels had been trying to say about the various rebel cells like Saw Garrera being unwilling to work together. It also links in Saw appearing in Andor season 1.

Man I hope this shit better get better. Watched episode 1 and 2 of the second season and it was boring. Episode 3 is another struggle to watch, this shit don't even feel like Star Wars and that ugly imperial blonde chick needs to slice off that mole from the side of her head, that shit is distracting as fuck.
